I know I'll be flamed but, I have to say it

  • Please for the love of god please lower the player damage in TR and MC, stuff should not 2 shot you as a newly gearing player when you get 3 friggin dps in the run and I get stuck sorc tanking all the damn time.

    Ok rant done flames welcome

  • It will eventually happen but not in a reasonable time frame. Mid gear patch most likely when materials become easier to get, dungeon drop increased and so forth, for now I assume it will stay the same.

The whole patch seems rushed to me, even the new quests are nothing more than just going back and forward to meet the same NPC, the Hasmina quests are like this in Exodor and although they can be finished they have no description if you click on them, it opens a blank page.

  • I find that there is good and bad in the first 2 three person dungeons. Yesterday I played some as DPS and at that point most people were doing very little damage so yes some games were basically tanking as dps for 2 or 3 minute boss fights. I don't enjoy that myself so I can definitely understand where that annoyance comes from.

One of the good things is that it's a quick queue. I like the idea of small 3 person dungeons in general. However, yes things get difficult without a healer giving party buffs and healing. A tank helps a lot too but the whole party's DPS really drops down without healer buffs as I am sure you all know.

I agree that right now it's tough in some passing moments with our DPS being low but for me I am not stressing. I just try to have fun and enjoy what I can. I think that things will change a lot over the course of the patch after people get geared. I expect 1 or 2 overpowering character to carry new/weak ones in about 2 to 3 weeks if not a little sooner.

    (my opinion).

  • I can agree with OG. I don't know why they made MC and TR so disorganized, it's like a continuations for lvl 20-65 ones. yes que's are fast now, that is the only good thing. I play healer, majority of my runs I get strong range class, that is having aggro and running all over the room, getting myself hit and close combat spending majority of the time chasing boss instead of attacking. Another thing I noticed, how hard bosses hit. I had players with full +12 getting 2 shot. MC is not a new dungeon, I remember last time we had it, At first boss, when you get targeted, you had pretty much invincibility, because that buff prevented you from heavy damage. now it's not only targeting you, but it takes 1/3 of your hp with every hit. 3rd boss, when he goes to the middle and meteors/balls rain, if I don't use shield, it's gonna kill a a player, even if I use shield it hits through it and last boss having one shot mechanic .I can't imagine how new people are gonna feel when they will die over and over in first 65+ dungeon and it will take more than 3min for each boss and all that for what? 1 box at the end. With TR same thing, on first boss, his third or forth attack is jump that again one shots. For who are these first 2 dungeons? Cuz they're not meant for new/low geared people.

  • To be fair this is more like how MC worked when it was the level 63 dungeon; those mechanics HURT. Difference is that back then we were guaranteed a healer and tank.

My problem is that these dungeons were never designed to be run with only 3 people. Yes, MC was 3-man last time we had it, but it was so painfully easy it would have been a challenge to die even on purpose. Honestly, I do think this incarnation of MC is still really easy, but I did notice things can actually hurt me now.

TR on the other hand is unforgiving. If you mistime your dodges at all, you're dead. The TR I remember was fun, this is just frustrating.

Compared to what you are getting in the end, painfully easy seems fine to me, because now, you lose ~10m (without luck of getting strong player) of your time for 1 box and 1.500 gold, that you will be spending on self rez. AQ was easy, you could get one shot on first boss, but it was a mechanic, once you learned it, you were safe, so it had some kind of structure to that dungeon. Now in MC, you don't have any mechanics, it's just bosses doing pure damage and aoe damage, so if you happen to get aggro, you die fast, meaning any buffs you popped (like mana boost), is going to be gone, together with food.

  • My opinion is if you have the right class then the 3 person dungeons are not so bad as a new character. I think the best classes for 3 person are brawler or mystic.

Mystic has volley of curses that automatically does dmg to the boss and you can heal through mechanics. Alternating between protection thrall and Corruption ring lets you avoid being knocked over and you can kind of act like a pseudo tank in some passing moments for two low DPS players.

Brawler auto blocks so if you get stuck in a long one it's not as bad as lancer with the keyboard work out.

Pretty much any other class can suck when queuing alone as a new character.. 3 dps is not fun. Priest is not fun. lance is potentially not fun depending on the team.

    (My opinion).

  • You pretty much described and organized party and why it works. If MC would que like that, there would be no problems with it. It would actually be pretty much an awesome beginner dungeon to learn your new apex skills. Bosses in terms of mechanics are very easy, but still because of the damage, if you mess up, you get punished. There are stuns and knockdowns to dodge, and killing trash mobs in between. But why do all that, if you can stuck 3 random 65+ players and see if they gonna make it.
