Server Merges

They care more about people playing Ken and Barbie than they do about MMOs sad but true

They tried merging pvp and pve before and it just caused a huge conflict between players where you had pvp players going after pve players for sport and harassment or simply to troll which is why they don't want to. Things like threatening to keep killing a player if they didn't give them gold and other harassing reasons like that all it will do is bring trouble.

Kaia server is completely abandoned, nobody does pvp and nothing there.. it is necessary to MERGE as soon as possible, even Velik shows signs of loneliness

It will never happen regardless because all it will do is cause problems like it did with gameforge before they're not going that rout again

And they certainly won't merge servers because some pvp hungry players just want the servers merged so they can go after pve players for sport

like i said before it caused a huge problem before because pvp players were harassing and threatening pve players and it just caused a huge conflict

if pvp players would respect pve players there wouldn't be a issue but you and i both know that won't happen because there will be pvp players attacking and harassing pve players for gold and other things

Example of the type of issues one will face if the servers were merged i was in velika a day ago and here comes some pvp crazed player wanting to challenge everyone he challenges me and i tell him I'm pve only the player then ask me about 10 more times to challenge him and I'm like "What part of i don't duel I'm pve only didn't you understand?". The mindset of pvp players is to not except no for an answer and try to force a duel out of you. Combining the servers would be just asking for trouble because of harassment and just generally being hunted down.

Several things;

• If they merged the PVP and PVE servers, they would certainly make the result a PVE server.
• As I understand the situation, they have basically killed PVP in low level zones anyway.
• When you are challenged to a dual, it isn't actually necessary for you to accept the dual.
• I used to play on a PVP server ages ago, I never ever had anyone continue to harass me with dual invites after I'd turned them down once.
• It is a regular occurrence for me to be challenged to a dual in Highwatch on the PVE server, if I'm not in the mood then I don't accept, it's really that simple.

Having extreme pvp players try to harass you into a duel isn't unheard of but yeah, your right you don't have to except but when they continue to try to aggravate you into a dual then that is a cause for a report but yeah if they merge the servers all you will have are extremist pvp players going after pve players for sport you can obviously tell they want new players to hunt down hence the need so badly to merge

Ran out of pvp players to butcher in their server so they want to make Velika pve their new hunting grounds

There's a major reason you have the servers separated so pvp players won't target pve players for sport and harassment

Some guy here forgot that lots of pvpers are in the pve server because a lot of issues that we have at pvp server. Trying to justify not merging servers with that "harrasment" idea at this point came from someone that may not be playing the game for the last 2 or 3 years.

It needs to be done plain and simple, end of story.

Um FYI i've been playing since before reaper patch i'm just saying no one likes a bunch of hothead pvp players harassing pve players so say what you want

I've been around since the guild wars in fact before they started when petra gear was still great mid class gear remember that gear? And also, not just myself but a lot of others feel the same way pvp players tend to get out of control and not respect pve players if they did it wouldn't be a issue now would it?

So, before you go and start talking about how long you think i've been in tera stop to think why do think PvP servers are dead some of that has to do with pvp players harassing players in that server don't even try to deny it then they want to bring that crap to Pve no one is making excuses just pointing out facts that maybe you don't want to hear or believe

With all your spam there I can tell pretty much you dont play at all. Those pvpers, if there are any at all there, Either quit playing or they are already in Velik server for months by now. What is left in Kaia server are pretty much pvers that refuse to start over in another server or refuse to leave their current guilds.

What you say overall makes no sense at all.

Man, forget all of that, if servers are merged why do you think pvpers will hunt other people in open world when its a given that the merged server will be PvE? And reading all your non-sense about pvp only one person comes to mind from back the old times on EME forums.

The conversation stopped at "you dont play at all". It's insulting as heck to say that she doesn't play. What makes you say she doesn't play ? Do you have ANY Grounds to your reason for that comment ?

If not, retract it. She's has more than 2000 hours done in the game on both versions as do I myself.

I have almost 1300 days played time, and I have never seen a server on Tera so inactive. Even Lake of Tears and Valley of Titans wasn't that dead at merge. Get off your soapbox and just face it, this needs to be done

And for F*** sake you really think there would be nothing but harassment from pvpers, first off all the good pvpers are already on Velik server(myself included) and the harassment does not even exist at all, I don't know where you get your info from, but it seems that you are just blowing smoke.

It's possible you have some weird, unique experience of Dual Invite Harassment happening to you, but I've never even heard of it before this thread.

As someone who has been playing on and off since 2012, I can tell you 2000 hours is almost comical.

Just one of my 20 or so characters has almost 5000 hours and I don't AFK... much.

I just took a look in Highwatch on Kaia, there were 5 other people there.

Imagine a potential returning player loading up and seeing 5 other people in all of Highwatch, they'd think the game was completely dead and log right back out again never to return.

Merging won't save the game, but it might delay the inevitable.

Comical? How can being in a game for 2000 hours be considered "comical " but it also proves I'm no newbie player as some of you are trying to assume
