Tera World Tournament

    I didn't even compete in the ranking and if I want to achieve something Tera is not the place to be anything.

    Man, understand this, to see my point of view.

    Congrats on the win, bragging about it on the forum or to anyone really is jack sh*t.

    Score runs with the entire party scripting not just you that is a 5x permaban, so you properly understand it. I didn't post moongourd because it's not Tera recognized or affiliated in any way, therefore nobody at Gameforge will use that data, ever. Just like your video, or screenshots, they don't matter, only server data is recognized by Gameforge, this not from 'source my ass believe me' send a ticket and confirm.

    Scripting years at a time and toning it down or turning it down for some random event doesn't absolve you of anything.

    Just as I said, Congrats on the win from the bottom of my heart. Take your prize, and bugger off, do some more 40 second Bahhar phase 2 with 4 buddies just like you.

    None of this was to flex the victory, y'all still missing the point. Nobody is even denying nor confirming the usage of scripts outside of the tournament. This game is already too far gone to argue about proxy anymore.

    The topic here as in the initial post is solely concerning the tournament itself.

    People were accusing us scripting INSIDE the tournament. People have the right to stand up for themselves, all im sayin

    I don't need you to conguratulate me, if you say that ''Tera is not the place to be anything.'' for you then why you are trying to ''BE'' something or ''DO'' something or ''PROVE'' something here on the forum ?
    What i am saying is bugger off yourself and do not even post any further on this because you are just wasting everyone's time here.

    Despite you making a valid point, you have to remember that most of the tera playerbase are already using NGSP or PSP, while these are attempting to emulate the skill usage as close to vanilla as possible, it's still breaking TOS and it's just a matter of which scripts are detectable and which aren't. In the end you can make a point that 90% of the tera playerbase are cheating, just because you think some are more ethical than others, that's purely subjective on your part and it's objectively cheating. In the end an easy solution would be to just require the official meter for leaderboard runs to be counted, but hey, all you think about is "ban cuz they cheat harder than everyone else".

    WDC Tournament rule:

    • If a tournament participant exploits hacks, bug abuses or similar and this is detected, this will lead to exclusion from the rankings and disqualification.

    The reason why the tournament requires the in-game meter data is to check if the rule from above has been broken, unless you can prove otherwise.

    This has been a thing since i left and that was when the dinosaurs where still alive.

    Now that a bit of money was on the line suddenly everyone is big about morals, its kinda funny not gonna lie.


    From what i have heard other people got disqualified so the only thing i would worry about is that you guys got beat without the scripts involved.


    The fact that one group can hold the top 3 without any alts involved is another matter and i kinda understand why this sucks. Only the best run should count.


    Everything else in here is literally cry me a f****** river of salt tears.


    At least i got my share of evening entertainment, thanks.

    As I said, if you want to to bring "cheating" into discussion you have to look at the entire playerbase, most of the people are "cheating", and i could bet that you're included in that category as well. These are consequences of gameforge closing an eye to toolbox, since 90% of the community is dependent of it, again as I mentioned about, while most of the people are using any kind of skill prediction, there's no point to be made about "cheating", which if you knew how those scripts work you'd realise it's not different from skill prediction to begin with, I'm not going to go into any further details, nobody's happy with the usage of "cheats", as long as there's competition for the leaderboard, people will use those "cheats" to either challenge or defend that spot.

    People complained about "cheating" outside the tournament, when there was a fair competition during the tournament, and nobody came close to our score then started accusing us of using cheats during the tournament, despite multiple people getting disqualified after the investigation. That aside neither one of us answered to this topic to brag, nor to prove anything to gameforge's staff which have already investigated the logs, was solely to provide evidence and to calm the rumours about us using a 3rd party software during the tournament.     Saying that tweaking tera ingame lag issues/poor optimization is the same as using scripts/hacks, just because of a rule that puts everyone in the same bag cause of proxy is such a terrible excuse! :evil:

    By the wayExitLag is VPN used to get more stable connection.

    First of all, Exitlag doesn't alter the packets themselves, only the routing, while ngsp emulates the skill on the client side, but am sure you're "high iq" and know that already, I don't know what point you're trying to make, ngsp emulates 0 ping gameplay, which is impossible to get. You can't compare a packet manager software to a VPN, and say "yes they're the same", because they're definitely not, but well, you seem to be pretty "high iq" and should know that emulating something that's not achievable in vanilla is "cheating", while the reason why skill prediction was developed is a good cause, it doesn't make it any more ethical than any other script. But well, seeing your reasoning, i bet you and many other used skill prediction in the tournament and thought "i'm ethical/vanilla".

    Anyway, you could do your research and at least google why NA Tera lost most of their playerbase a few years back, (hint: it's related to toolbox being bannable)

    To summarize cause for sure the topic will close tomorrow 100%


    a) this "proof" is proof only for you.

    b) noone plays same day with cheats and without so in best case scenario you only didnt abuse the canceling ( it ll take u a week or more to adapt to different attack speed )

    c) and above all 90% of the community as you claim might use toolbox but NOT scripts that abuse the cooldown and completely manipulate the skills.


    Same date you play with scripts on and off and we arguing for WHAT?
