Language and p2w

    Hello,


    This is but the n-th post about current cash shop situation.

    Quoting our CM , in regard of what happened few months ago:

    I would like to highlight this statement:

    In order to ensure a healthy economy for all our players.


    To raise this question that is going to be ignored:

    How is the economy healthy when you cause inflation yourself?

    In cash shop now we can find 2 items that were previously farmable in absurd quantities:

    Combat Accelerator Potions and Strong Canephora Potion.

    They have been removed from loot since years, but they have always been usable.


    How can the economy be healthy if there are people sitting on 10'000 of said consumables which are now only P2W?


    Now I suggest 2 solutions, to maintain your beloved profit intact:

    1) Forbid their utilization in leaderboard dungeons, same treatment as buff food event;

    2) Create 2 separate ITEM ID for these Cash Shop version and make all the old one NO LONGER AVAILABLE.


    Now Gameforge, you can silently ignore this issue again and again but this attitude calls a statement:

    Behavior that does not agree with what someone claims to believe or feel.

    And regarding the leaderboards, consumables are not the problem, I know you replied in the scripts thread so you are quite aware of the actual problem.

    I strongly agree with what you posted but even the latest event with the Power Chest being dropped in-game with no other source to obtain a key to open it other than the cash shop is massively fucked.

    There is a very serious problem with scripts, lancers ultimate script with replaced skills(barrage without cooldown) have become common, almost all valkyries with fastvalk sript, almost all NA zerks (on EU rare) with fastunleash script, other ultimate class scripts. These all script completely break gameplay of the classes to get an advantage in dps.

    But gf dont care. Report system dont work. Engineering team consists of incompetent people who do not cope with their duties.

    Only cashshop works.

    They should strip the scripters of every single leaderboard title then, and let em use it no one cares if you top moongourd. There is a ninja that got under 6 seconds in pit of petrax, so I tested the time it takes to actually reach the boss on my non scripted ninja and its something in the ballpark figure of 6-7 seconds at least, then he killed the boss in 0 seconds, I'm like yeah right.


    Shit like this is the reason why I am tempted to stop paying gameforge for expensive assed p2w mats and script, but maybe I just want to play fairly.

    It's true, i've played different MMORPGs for different localizers, but i've never seen a policy like this anywhere! In most games, you can't even run ahk (which by the way also gives a huge boost).

    The only sure way out of the situation is to completely delete the toolbox and start bans. There is no other way. Of course, i would like to see the emulation embedded in the game, but since it is not there yet, then nothing can be done.

    The current scripts are just completely different thing. It helps to farm better and easier, take a leading position - but localizers piss on ordinary players. Why are some playing fair at 65 ping and suffer, while others put scripts at 5 ms? If i were the localizer, i would just be ashamed of what kind of trash the game has turned into.

    Therefore, if you play, you probably just need to come to terms with the fact that cheaters will always be in the top and not think about it or completely leave the project forever.And turning into one of them is like starting to eat shit, because everyone around them also began to do it.

    It's funny moment by the way: game strongly depends on tera toolbox, 1-2 people update toolbox every patch. What happen if they won't? Game will become dead. I see only p2w "events" and tons of bugs by publisher instead of attempts to make in-game skill prediction. Why toolbox developers do more for game than publisher? One day toolbox devs will stop update and what GF will do? Close game :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

    I hope this will happen someday. It's better to play with 4 normal ppl than with a "live server" filled with scripted dumpster. If you can't play without the toolbox these are ur personal problems.


    Most people on Mistel live in Europe, which means that they have a ping of 5 to 30 approximately. I have ping of 49-65, and this does not prevent me from playing without the ngsp atm. Yes, in some classes it's not easy(lancer for example), but you can get used to it. Do you have any suggestion to off scripts in some way other than to completely ban the toolbox?

    If you are not ready to completely stop using the toolbox, then don't ask the localizer for anything. The game has now been turned into a complete trash

    Some people that develop and sell scripts are mods on the Tera Discord channel; 'we do tolerate DPS meters' turned into we do tolerate all the scripts under the sun and exploits available for purchase from our vetted sources.

    Time to pack the stuff and leave.

    Wdym? The problem is that TERA literally depends on plenty of people, who update and sell 3rd party tools. Publisher do nothing to break this dependancy.

    Most of people don't equal all people. After merges there are many players from other countries, for example from SEA with ping 250. U wanna them drop game if toolbox won't work? BHS had implemented DPS-meter, why they can't do same with skill prediction? Year is 2021, most of MMORPGs have in-game ping compensator or smth else, tera has nothing.

    Other people that replied to this thread have absolutely zero clue of how the game currently works and blindly shift blame to an absolutely unrelated topic.

    surprised that this wasn't addressed yet.its been like wat 2.3 years since the last major script problem and like a year or os since the last major item duping glitch.

    And what exactly I did wrong by dropping from a party that had a scripter? Please make it clear for me, I'm past writing a report it gets me nowhere. I saw something was off, confirmed it and quit during the boss fight.

    I lost a run, you did or your acquaintance, I don't care if I match with under geared people and it takes 10 minutes for 1 clear, I'll take them any day compared to the brown nosed pve elites.
