Hi, I just wanna ask about your opinions about tera toolbox that many player are currently using like 8-9 months. What are your guys thinking about it? Is it cheating for having mods like dungeonguides where you get notified about the next movements and mechs from the bosses like 1-2seconds ahead and even shown the exact location where it's gonna hit so you can see the safespot clearly without even remembering any moves or attacks before. Or is it fine to use this toolbox? I mean whats the point of hardmode where those indicators are got removed if you can use the toolbox to even get a better vision(version) of it? Is it fair against player that try hard to achiv those dungeons without it, that spend time and resources to be able to achive it by themself or should all player starting to install teratoolbox to clear those dungeons faster and easier so they can get the highest gear faster and sells what they got to the tradebroker and control the prices? Or is the tera toolbox allowed since nobody so far got punished for it? Neither script user got punished so far atleast from my server where i currently playing?![]()

No ones cares - neither the community nor Gameforge Support. Unless you are abusing some hard stuff you won't get punished for anything and majority of the community uses the same stuff anyway. It's wildly accepted now (even the most obvious stuff like Fastvalk or Ultimate.Scripts & Bern) or rather no one gives a shit anymore.

It's not allowed and never will. Anyone who use it they do it on their own risk
I know few ppl who actually got banned for it. But in order to get banned afaik someone should submit a ticket for the exact person, so they will check if it's true and then decide to take any actions against that person or not. Other way as Tob said no one gives a shit. They will never care to check anyone on their own
dungeonguides
In my opinion it's for ppl with 5iq -_- But yk it's like okay if someone need a guide to complete dung it's their call

Yeah gameforgesupport pretty much ignore those facts and many player i know just leave the game or not returning for that reason why play a game where everybody can cheat and only get banned if they even get banned when someone reported them. Why even tthe burden for new gear when the game is gonna die anyways

As much as possible keep your game and your pride intact and pristine, be proud of it, let them script and toolbox. I guess for those people it's hard to type with sausage fingers so additional aid is needed.
If you encounter them give em' hell, make the run or whatever you are doing together hell on earth, be rude also but not to the point actions can be taken against you, just enough to publicly shame them for cheating.
Have fun in-game and enjoy!
Thank you for your support Hotasduck !

Fun fact:
Tera Toolbox's developers knows more about the game than BH's developers.
Tera Toolbox's community is more helpful and communicative than GF's support team and board staff.
I'm against it; but it's pretty ironic isn't it?

Personally, i don;t use it. been resisting using the toolbox since from the start. but it can be very challenging when almost every party you got in dungeon run, there will be someone who from time to time who might pressuring you to do it.
i personally believe a person will lose something far more valuable for cheating. although toolbox player think the toolbox are helping them.
the other reason is that it might pose security issue reason. although i mainly don't use 3rd party software because of a job i had been doing in my past. (so it is ethic reason for me)

There are different opinions on this matter. It all depends on which modules u are using. You need to discuss specific modules, not an abstract "toolbox"
Let's say that the emulator cant be called cheating, cause in fact its just a more rational work of skills than what the Koreans did. Emulation allows ppls with high ping to play comfortably - idk any other way. Let the Koreans first introduce this feature into the game and rewrite their code before banning ppl.
As for the guide - this module only hurts if you want to learn how to play.
The problem with the guide is that there are some mechanics on some bosses, which are much easier to perform with it, and this certainly gives an advantage. In general, the guide can give an advantage to strong players who know what they are doing.
I consider this module to be one of the most harmful for the game, especially for beginners. But on the other hand, its good cause it can help beginners understand how mechanics work, for example, Baha'ar waves. It's faster and easier than learning mode. Another thing is that playing so constantly is dishonorable in relation to other players.
As for scripts, this is by far the most harmful thing in the game. Essentially, the majority of moon top in all classes play with scripts. And in order to compete with them you have to be both - a good player and use scripts; or u have to be a super strong player to compete with a scripter. And the longer a boss's kill time, the more effective scripts will appear, and the more an honest player will fall behind.

I do see toolbox has some sort of cheating element in it although it is not as obvious as it used to be. this thought mainly originated back then when shen server was migrated from enmasse to gameforge. a lot of pvp player at that time face player who use scripts to cheat and win in pvp . many pvp player make report about cheating players to gameforge, but game forge employee did not take action. this resulted in the shen server pvp community base are dead.
as for me, i did encounter a script long time ago which the script actually eat the healer mp points. this is more popular use by tanker class as tanker are taking a direct hit from the boss. there are even at one time, where a tanker ate my mp point during a dungeon run which resulted in the entire party are being wipe out (simply because i am completely out of mp ). considering i didn't remembering hearing any complain from msytic class about mp being eaten, i am assuming this script only target priest class mp point. i do not know if such script are still circulating among players or not but considering how bad things tend to stay longer in this earth. someone might still have such script.
As for player who wanted to have their character name as one of the best damager class in their respective server. was it really worth risking everything? after all , for most of us, our computer do not only have tera game itself but also our personal information such as our banking info, our private and sensitive chats with our family and friends. for some of us, it might even contain our job work information that might be sensitive to our company. as far as i am concern, if the toolbox developers can't be sue legally for their misdeed. it is risky to use their software. even if the toolbox developer do it out of the intention to benefits others. some people might get the wrong idea and use it for bad purpose. if the toolbox developers can't be held accountable for their responsibilities, it is risky for me. if i am not wrong, gameforge won't take any responsibility for any damage for using toolbox as toolbox is not one of their official product.
