What for the love of god have you done!!!???

  • I loged in today with excitment for the new patch, i have come back to the game for 2 weeks now and i was having a blast because i didnt feel like stressing myself out playing tera but it turned out that i could do the 3 easy mode dungeons in each of my characters and get an average/decent ammount of money daily, i was getting around 6.5k-8k with each easy mode dungeon after the first clear with the vanguard rewards, and what do i find today???


    -We went from 3 easy mode to 2

    -We went from 7-8k gold profit (bronze coins+gold reward) per easy mode dungeon to 1.5k (No bronze coins in vanguard rewards anymore and reduced gold reward 50%) all of that ammounts to a total of 20% the original profit, in other words an 80%!!! nerf

    -We went from getting 1-2 golden relics/halioms per companion's adventures to 0

    -We went from 48 vanguard credits per easy mode dungeon completed to 30

    -(i will update this list as i get deeper into the patch)


    On a side note:


    -Mythical gear designs costs 856k!!!?? LMFAO


    my hype went from 100 to -50 so fast that i think i broke the laws of physics, honestly i have no idea how the hell i am supposed to make money to gear up now, i dunno what the hell happened but the only thing i can say is: WTF is wrong with you people (developers)!?.

    in more of the amazing game design of this patch the most BASIC set of gear that is for some reason called "rare" requires 6-7 murky mahtnan powders per enhancement attempt wich you get from dissasembling mahtnan gear at a ration of 1 pice = 4 powders with this in mind and considering that every dungeon run gets you 1 pice of gear at most that means that for 1 single enhancement try you need at least 2 dungeon runs, but thats not the best part, the failure correction values (the increased chance of succeding after having failed) is an astonishing 0.3% yes, not even 1%, NOT EVEN 1%!!!!!


    additionally forvath's enchantment finesse (item that according to its own description " increases the failure correction value 25%" seems to not be working, i have used 3 of them and the expected increment is not displayed, not before nor after the enhancement.

  • I love how that new patch doesnt even attract returnees. Normally if a new patch is released old players return to the game, but not this time. :D

    I know its only steam players but those numbers still represent something. Player-peak was 829 last 48hours... even july had a higher peak. :lol:

    indeed, imagine doing this kind of thing to the f2p playerbase 3 days before bless unleashed wich is also a f2p MMO is released (wityhout even mentioning all the other new incoming mmos), they literally just shot themselves in the foot.

  • The opening poster is right. It's not just a rage post. The data he listed is pretty accurate. Dungeons give half the amount of money they used to. Cash flow = cut in half but prices on needed items stay the same. There are almost no halidom/relic drops from playing dungeons. Dungeons for beginners to try went from 4(if you count DC) to 2.

    Less money, less item drops, less maps to play and ...a gear reset.


    The only people I see playing a lot are the addicted die hards that had a massive cash bank (probably half of them being item dupers) or a small amount of new players who don't know much different.
