P2W Issues

    Small reminder that the following items are still completly p2w and have absolutely ingame no source.


    - 2.0 mounts of any kind (afaik also p2w in other regions but is much cheaper)

    - new/old innerwears (afaik also p2w in other regions but is much cheaper)

    - Lotus (Korea has an ingame source btw)

    - Seals and other garbage consumables that still count for leaderboard dungeons (don't exist in other regions and shouldn't either in our version)


    not important anymore but still was a problem

    - Inspired scrolls from the Kaia's Soul gear were completly p2w for the first 5-6 months (until new gear was announced, only then you added them to useless events) while you were able to buy them in korea for unbelievably cheap. (But my old thread about that topic was ignored like all the others lul)

    - pretty much any existing cash-shop box that gave you enchanting items :) since dungeon loot has been pure garbage for the past few years - making it impossible to gear by actually playing the game and adding enchanting items to the cash shop = big brain move not gonna lie though :S


    Honestly I'm legit wondering if you guys just don't communicate with Bluehole or other publishers about those things or if the devs of this game really don't care about the fact that you're literally trying to milk your players for stuff that definitely should not be that expensive & rare to get even if someone decides to spend money on this game. Wouldn't even mind at this point if you just sell this game back to Bluehole or something - most people here are pretty tired of this company.

    Tikats are an exlusive item from cash shop. You either need to spend real money in the game or buy TERA Club from another player THAT SPENT REAL MONEY TO GET IT.

    problem is p2w shit like Russian matryoshka in the shop

    otherwise people wouldnt sell this wonderful lotus for 30-40m

    When in our tikat shop even a single shape changer cost more than lotus in kr

    You know it's like lotus and 2.0 for kr is just part of game while here for eu it's a luxury

    Kinda disappointing that some people need to be reminded but yeah honestly - if you are unhappy with how Bluehole and Gameforge are managing this Game, their Events, their Cash-Shop, their Community Managers, and many other things - do NOT spend money on this game.


    If you want changes and improvements to the game - stop giving them your money. I'm well aware that most of you people are adults and are old enough to decide for yourself on what you spend your hard earned money on - but seriously it's pretty stupid that a ton of people who complain on discords & forums still throw several hundreds if not thousands of euros/dollars monthly into this game - especially on the first day of new content.


    Sadly there are lot of players that try to compensate their lack of skill & experience in this game by literally just p2w'ing everything on the first day but for once actually try to use your head a little bit - is it really that smart to throw a few thousand bucks on the first day for a video game thats supposed to be fun when playing and actually working/achieving the gear yourself without buying it? Especially when the majority of the community is tired of this shit and you are the only few remaining people that are capable of forcing Gameforge to change like they did back during the NA-Exodus or MWA-crisis?


    These companies literally just continue to create and add more problems into this game just to sell us - the community - the solution to that problem afterwards in a freaking rng cash shop box? Is this really what you want from a game that you are willing to spend money on? That they just continue to add more problems just so you are FORCED to pay to keep up with other people and somewhat enjoy the content?

    people will keep spending as long they can afford it and then wonder why the game ends up dead when the people who cant afford to p2w quit for a better game that actually respects your time and doesn't require any monetization for you to enjoy / progress the game. I pretty much gave up on the game ever getting to a better state just because of those people supporting gameforge with their money and giving them the OK sign to f**k the playerbase like this every new patch

    Other publisher may not take over the game plus Krafton may still hunt down private servers if they get to make any significant profit.

    You fail to understand something pretty basic in bussiness. If GameForge closes the game and no other publisher takes it on EU and NA then BHS wont lift a finger to shut down a pirate server because there is no profit involved for them, only wasting their money without nothing in return.

    Yes they would go after pirate servers. They might not stand to gain anything by going after pirate servers, but they stand to lose their copyrights (or trademarks, I forget which) if they don't.

    Still nothing changed dude.Leave it,dont give a fuk about this game anymore.Checking forums time to time,it goes more sh!tter every day.And after anemsalok,the new cm,s never care what u type in forums.At least anemsalok was trying to do something but currents are useless AF.


    Also BHS working on new game,which is elyon.More pvp based game.But im sure they will make it full p2w after 2-3 years like they did it in Tera.


    And the other problem is "Gameforge" itself.Sorry but u guys dont deserve single cent.Worst company i have ever seen.No communication,always ignoring blabla.


    Hope this game shut down soon and it will.

    Thats not the way you lose copyrights or trademarks lol. I am amused by the lack of proper info about that. And no, they wont lift a finger, they will make a blind eye until they get a new publisher investing on it, unless they selfpublish of course but I cant see that happening by how bad things have been for them at NA with EME (publisher owned by BHS)

    I'm slightly impressed and amazed how naive you can be. Funny thing is that's not even close to what you should do If you are indeed unhappy with how this game performs right now.
