Display MoreImagine not quitting Tera permanently back in 2013/2014-ish when they began all their blatantly obvious cash grabs, putting in undergarment equipment with stats on it and crap like police cars.
Imagine still going along with it and paying to win for 8+ years.
Go play a real mmorpg where people are rewarded for their time invested or for their gaming skills instead of rewarded for the size of their wallet.
How do any of you still have hope for this game and/or company? It honestly blows my mind.
Hell, I'd rather play Dungeons and Dragons with a group of friends or a Neverwinter Nights persistent world which is the closest online D&D experience.
Tera is pure garbage.
Glad I quit before then. I don't mind a little help for money but not actual gear.
Idk about you but I was a teen when I first played and now I'm nearing 30. I don't have time to catch up to kids who can play all day either. I certainly don't want to buy gear with stats but every MMO is a careful balancing act of appeasing people with time and people with money, cause usually people don't have both.
I loved PSO2 but it took too much time and I had to quit. It was becoming a chore me coming home from my lousy job at 4 am, tired af, hungry, having to do it all over again tomorrow.
There has to be a middle ground where a cash shop doesn't screw over f2p but where the only way to win the game is to play 24/7 for a few months, or a year+ to reach meaningful goals.
Gameforge you censor curse words? Please, curse words are more wholesome than your vile business. Get that puritanical bs outta here. You're no saints.
