I read that you can get a total of 104 free inventory slots, and I only have 96? I’ve done the quest you get early on in the game, bolstering home front quest, bought from inventory manager, and I’ve maxed out my gathering stuff to 350. Am I missing something?

there's a quest in kaiator that asks you to gather a bunch of shit. it's a yellow zone quest. that gives an inv expansion when you complete it.
the other is lv.50 as noted above.
then the last is gathering.
i can get 96 right now with either bolstering the home front (which is the quest in kt) or the gathering thing.
so you missed something somewhere. (as I've done neither)

Pretty sure you can only get 96 free slots. Whoever said you can get 104 probably got a free inventory expansion from buddy-up or some other event.

Its as people said above. 104 are the max slots you get for free by normal means., where 8 are from a side quest, 8 are from maxing your gathering skills and 8 are from leveling your character. If you only have 96 is because you havent meet one of the criteria above.

You're right. Weird. I'm sure when I did all those quests years ago you needed vouchers for the last three rows.

I have only 2 lines locked up without any cash shop item used.
maybe you are missing the one that required all 3 gathering skill at 300 ?
