Monster Spawn Event

    This event is severely flawed. Apparently you can kill steal someone else's summon. It should not be that way at all, it should belong to the group that summoned it, plain and simple.

    i was hoping this unique opportunity of something happening in the open world ( how long ago was that?) would have us looking all over the world for it, and have the time and effort spent rewarded with a tough fight on a unique boss that gave nice rewards in the end.

    with a little edge for people that actually know the map maybe.

    but its just another version of get tokens in dungeons exchange for blabla.

    as far as i can tell* we need to form a group, kill the boss (two hits?), hope nobody steals the loot, and hope we are the one in the group that gets the reward. then back to lather-rinse-repeat.


    dissappointed. but getting used to it.

    only one person in the party got loot off MY summoning staff wtf, and they only got 5 tokens.


    DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS SHIT EVENT

    You have to kill the boss Solo, do not form a group. It's HP is low enough that even healers can kill them fast.


    IMO the description of the Staffs is very missleading, because I did the same mistake and formed a group because I expected a BOSS and not a trash mob. The loot ofc got someone else.


    EDIT: Even more frustrating is the fact, that the Staffs are limited per Account and you are not even guaranteed to get your own loot.

    The amount of tokens you get is RNG. From 15 Arborea Summoning Staff I obtained 83 tokens. It appears the lowest you can get is 4 tokens and the highest I personally got was 8. I'm glad the 'boss' goes down in a single Harmonious Burning Heart attack given the implementation of the event. The pet was the only item in the event I was really going for.
