Hello, I'm coming back from not playing this game for a long time and lost all my character but researched it and found out that the company ownership switched so is that why I haven't got my previous characters? Anyways this isn't what I came here to ask, I'm having trouble deciding what class to play. I see that Elins are still the "best" race to play, I previously played a priest and hade fun with her but the community was pretty dead when I played so not allot of multiplayer action there was. Is it still the same? I'm on PS4 btw. I am thinking playing either a Valkyrie, Brawler, Lancer or mystic. I understand that both brawler and lancer are Tanks, Mystics are healers and Valkyrie are DPS but I'm not sure if I should play a tank or a healer if their won't be anybody to play with. And Valkyrie looks cool due to being a combo style class, but I want to hear your guys opinions on the matter. Perhaps I should play a different class or race. I'm sorry about this being so long I just wanted some answers, thank you anyone for reading.

Hello it's not about the class, or the race, What is best to play, it's how much you trust the character your gonna make. And up to what limit can you go playing that character. I myself don't do interact much inworld ingame with anyone. Especially if there isn't any point to do so or there isn't anything that i need, Maybe in broker if is some items that i need from other players. In dungeons no matter how hard mode it is, i seems to always came out alive without dying any way so no point for doing party for me and done almost anything in solo even in 5 person hard mode dungeons.
It's all about how you optimize the game settings to make it run smoother and faster, and focus 100% only in power rating of the character to go up as much as you can. where it will make the most highest damage dps it can make. Cause in the end of the day there isn't anyone to rely on except yourself.

My favourite Class is still Warrior since i can move fast as dps or be a strong tank that also deal damage. Warrior is kinda hard to learn thou, but try it, maybe you like it!
