Tera NA Servers, Should we merge or Gameforge to fix the PvP server?

    I have a suggestion that I am pretty sure 99% of the Tera community would agree on. Servers should be merged to 1 single server or Gameforge to fix PvP infamy system by:
    - Killing a player same level as you = No infamy

    - Velika Outskirts becoming a PvP zone


    Kaiator is a PvP server; killing 1 player gives you 20,000 infamy + Makes you unable to cleric or banker + reduces endurance, movement, and damage by 10% (if you kill more then 1 player the effects stack becoming worse and worse)

    Many players have quit because of this or transfer to the server since there is practically no difference between servers.

    If you agree with this please comment below in support with this thread and hopefully we all as a community can bring change to make Tera Online better for everyone.

    Other than fix the infamy system and restore all the pvp zones that were made safezones, I do agree a merge might be inevitable.

  • good sugestion!! Gameforge has to do something about it, there is no way to play on kaiator, there is no player if you have 50 players online on kaiator is a lot and those who are left are transferring to velika server.

    I wonder if there's a way they could move the characters from each server to separate accounts so nothing would be lost? The idea of having to delete characters is pretty much the only reason I have for not getting behind a merger at this point.

  • If it were me running things I would have cut off transfers going from Kaia to Velik and allowed transfers the other way.. Good thing I ain't running things huh.

    Kaia is a graveyard, we have practically begged for a merge, but low and behold, gf is doing the old silent treatment and treating us like a piece of shit.

    The system itself works good. I just wish they fixed Mystel back into the PvP server it should have been and change its name, as they hijacked the entire voting process.

    Absolutely against it, player killing should come at a penalty as it is an outlaw action. If you just want combat you can duel/deathmatch instead.

    Velika Outskirts becoming a PvP zone

    All map besides the starting zones, camps and big cities should be a PvP zone.

    Servers should be merged to 1 single server

    What about latency concerns though? How will the ping spikes be handled?

    what the hell is it to you if no one goes to the dungeons and just costs afk in the game.

    it's almost impossible to assemble a team, lfg is empty 24/7

    world and trade chat is dead. during the merger, the russians were handed out character slots and bank tabs so that 23 slots and 8 tabs were open. I dont see any problems with merging at the moment, except for russian nicknames that are not supported on mystel or other eu servers.

    We have two servers in NA region and both are in the same location, so ping will be the same for players if they have both servers or only one.

    Nice to know this information, I didn't have it thanks for sharing.

    I even dare to say that infamy system needs something more engaging, you are an oulaw and killing others should make guards to hunt you or something of the sorts. That would be more interesting too.

    I'd give a thumbs up to that.

    You may add seasonal event zones like freeholds and the beach.

    Definitely and fishing zones. I'd not be against increasing open world rewards for gathering and mob/bam drops at that point vs that of partners in PvP servers.

    If I understood correctly, the merge may only be between both NA servers rather than merge NA servers with others then? You may lose PvP server if that's the case knowing Gameforge.

  • One of the reasons why I semi quit the game is because we keep getting ignored with regard to a merge, so I took my money elsewhere. I came back for a few minutes to see the population on kaia and its really quite pathetic right now. Oh well I will check in from time to time to see if a merge is coming or not.

    Right now with all things that are happening on the only PvP server and GameForge just keeping silent and not fixing them we dont get an influx of new players, returne players leaves after few days because all its messed and current active player base are leaving to Velik or quitting.


    If Fail-Forge wont fix all the things they provoked then a merge should be done asap, if they actually have any interest to keep the active player base that are in Kaia left.

  • Serve kaitor is already becoming PVE it's ridiculous not being able to kill any player at any level like in the past if they don't want to be killed they would go to server pve!!!

    GVG safe in city ? Only velika was serguro that was great it made players stay on in the first city that introduces new players!

    This server Pvp became a joke i can count how many players are online easy.. enmasse started to break it and gameforge is ending...
