    As we already announced in our preview, a long-awaited feature is coming to TERA shortly before its 9th anniversary: a display showing the damage you and your party deal to your opponents!

    New Items

    New Accessories


    With this patch, you’ll be able to loot new accessories such as masks, brooches, and belts again!

    Existing accessories cannot be upgraded. Instead, the new items will be available to loot from the following instances:

    • Top of the Damned Citadel
    • Complete Akalath Quarantine
    • RK-9 Kennel (Hard)


    Once again, enemies will be able to drop Fury and Wisdom versions of these items, equipped with 0 to 3 random options.

    You will be able to randomly regenerate these options with the corresponding scrolls, using Golden Cryolites to lock any options you don’t want to change.

    Golden Cryolites can be obtained by extracting masks, belts, and brooches you don’t need.


    Tradeable Enchantment

    The specialty merchant has four new chests on offer. They are empty to start with, and you have to fill them.

    You can make your existing enchanting materials tradeable by transforming the non-tradeable material into a chest for a sum of Gold. This is possible for the following materials:

    • Lumikan’s Wing Fragment
    • Lumikan’s Horn Piece
    • Tyrant’s Belt
    • Tyrant’s Soul


    Kaia’s Soul Gear Box

    As you’ll have already read above in the available instance rewards, you can receive a new chest in the dungeons.


    You’ll instantly receive an item of Kaia’s Soul Gear for your class upon opening this rare chest. Whether it’s a weapon, armor, hand armor, or foot armor is decided at random (the weapon has the highest probability).


    The DPS Meter

    Please ensure you have the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 installed, or else the DPS meter won’t work.

    You should also run the game client in window mode and activate the DPS meter in the game options.

    • If you accidentally close the DPS meter, you can open it again in the main menu (under “My Character”). Otherwise, it should automatically appear at the start of each boss battle.

    • Level 3: 8x Kaia’s Soul Cryolite

    Miscellaneous

    • The number of channels in Highwatch has been increased to 10.
    • The character selection background image has been changed to a spring design.
    • A feature has been added that allows you to automatically skip all cutscenes.
    • An automatic graphics settings option has been added.
    • A confirmation window has been added prior to disbanding a guild.
    • You now receive additional information during crafting.
    • The “+” symbol is removed when the skill window is opened.
    • The input screen is now filled with the maximum number of items by default (e.g. card fragments, gifts for partners, etc.).
    • Redundant items have been removed from shops.


    Quests

    • Quests now show the required item level, and some of them are automatically accepted.
    • Quest rewards are now displayed correctly.
    • The quests related to Lumikan and Kalligar have been adjusted.

    Known issues:


    • With a low probability, the DPS meter may not work when the user is in a party
    • The DPS meter may be slow and the display of numbers delayed on computers running on Windows 8
