How do I defeat Contaminated Fangspawn?

    Hello. How do I defeat Contaminated Fangspawn? I need to kill 3 of these beats:


    These suckers are really tough and I keep dying despite having very strong armor and weapon, and despite of all effects from potions (Bravery to count one), their hit quite quickly takes my HPs, while I hardly take their HPs. What do I need to use in order to defeat them? Potions, enchantments, etc.

    dodge. can also try def stance and blocking. otherwise i suggest just watching someone fight them and check out good old fangspawns' mechanics. also use better Hp potions

    ( prime) and have 2 other hp pots under shortcut keys so you have 3 options to restore Hp, since they dont share cooldowns. Prime Replenishment potion, valkyon somtin and rejuvination potion. used in the right order you can restore a lot of hp.

    other than that its just a learning process ^^

    What class character are you using? I'm not familiar with that type of armor the character is wearing? but i guess

    it's an archer class i think...


    If so there is a trick i can share you... Since i know archer class like gunner and mage class can do rage attack. Find a piece of a tall rock structure that is tall enough where your character can stand on but not get attacked by a boss or a mob. that is near the fangspawn. (It's called vantage point tactic.) It's something that i do sometimes when im feeling lazy playing with my elin reaper class. "That i learned while doing fishing." Just stand on a tall rock, and from there spam rage attack your target untill it dies. That way you dont also use potion nor your health being damage. Just a very angry monster beneath you raging haha lol.

    Well, thank you. I am already using Prime Health Replenishment Potions, however I ran out of Rejuvination Potions a while ago, and can't seem to find them to buy anywhere. As for the Valkyon Somtin, I don't even know what it is, but I'll check it out. My character class? I don't know. I picked Human race, and I think that this is a Warrior. I do not have a bow, I have two swords. The armor and weapons dropped out of a gift, I don't remember exactly how I got it. I just know that it has crazy high parameters. You can see my character in game, or I can screenshot myself in various views if you're interested in how my character looks like. I'll do some side quests then, just to make some money, craft some potions, and I'll look into it. Thanks again.

    If you want to survive, you need to dodge more. Tera combat is based on skills more than gear so better gear will not save you from dying if you don't dodge. As a warrior, you have two dodges (invincibility skills): evasive roll and death from above. As Somnambula suggested, you can also try to switch to defensive stance and block (but from my expenrience of a not-very-skilled-warrior, killing BAMs actually turned out to be easier in assault stance than defensive stance because they die faster that way).


    If you really can't kill them, of course you can try to party up with someone or ask a lvl 70 player for help, but I think it will be good practice for you to try to kill them yourself. It will be easier for you to practice your skills on these fangspawn than in a dungeon. If you find it too hard, it might be a good idea to first practice your rotation on lower level BAMs before you move on to these guys. You could even practice on exactly the same kind of BAM to learn their attacks - find some lower level fangspawn somewhere. Reading a warrior guide might help too.
