How do I get my characters back?

    So i haven't played in a long long time, and redownloaded the game on steam. I logged in and my characters were gone so after some googling I learned it might be because of this switch to gameforge or something, so I downloaded that client, but when I try to add an account it kept saying wrong password so I clicked reset password but it never sends me a password reset link? I just want my characters back lol

    Unfortunately Gameforge did not retain all of the old North American Tera accounts from En Mass Entertainment after En Mass Entertainment stopped supporting their North American version of Tera.
    There was a time period where people could have their Tera accounts switched over to Gameforge from En Mass, but it was something players had to do themselves. It was not done automatically.
