That annoys me so much not gonna lie. These small bandaid fixes won't help in the long run cuz many people are just gonna quit sooner or later and with whom are the others supposed to run then? Also adding one more item each run is ugh...still not enough. It still takes half a year or longer even if you grind every single day.

Also what I do not understand is this:
In the pas we had random stats on gear, which we could reroll with scrolls and lock with spellbinds. Then they said "random stats are bad for the game" so they made it so you could choose your stats (e.g. stormcry gear before infusions existed).
So why do they think now that random stats are fun? They went from some rng stats (which were not too bad as you could get the best stats easily enough and there were less than 10 options) to no rng stats to every piece has 5 random stats with 100 options per stat?

Stop paying and stop playing and you will have positive results, not at first because it will turn into an even heavier p2w game than it is now because that's the gf logic.
SoulWorker situation can tell us perfectly what will happen with that.
People should only be asking themselves if losing all their stuff with a change of publishers can be worth GameForge letting go of this game.
With the past experience with EME -> GameForge transition I dont think this may solve issues at all but there could be slim chances to happen.
This issue is like opening a lootbox...

well done tob!! i did the same math a few days ago in a spreadsheet and after that i didnt really wanted to play anymore. It is completly tedious to grind multiple months the same dungeon for your gear ...
They can easily double or even triple the current event drop and make it permanent and it wont be broken. I dont understand why they dont just make everything as group loot from the start anyways. No one likes to run dungeons and get nothing... -
That transition was not a good thing to NA, Eme had it's good and bad time. I remember when a lot of players migrated to NA because EU was too much too handle.
I'm not seeing that happening anytime soon but every new content added only looks good on paper, in practice it's super rng based and forced scarcity, take for example the last haildom/relic event, after getting t5 fairly easy most players started to spam global 'We're getting new haildoms/relics' and for good reason, when it gets easy to upgrade current gear it's soon going to be replaced.
I hate the low drop, I'm staying with triple digit number of horns in the bank and not upgrading because I ran out of wing fragments, why even run cat as a chore... and I have that despite the fact that I never even attempted a hard cat clear, just like most of the players, should I do the same now with gardan, it just feels so wrong.
And if you want to hear a joke roll/try to add stats.

Hello, I was bored and saw this thread
So I made some histograms to visualize the costs of enchanting from +0 to +9. Each is counted from 1 million simulated enchant tries, taking into account both repairing & enchant correction. The Number of bins is listed in the title of histogram, and each bin (bar) counts how many tries needed that exact amount of materials as on X-axis.
I used the glove data for generating these.

Imagine needing 800 HM mats when your friend only needs 100... This system is so broken and frustrating. Why can't they just make it a 100% chance with needing 50 mats instead of 10% with 5 mats? That way everybody needs to collect the same amount and no more frustration because you know upfront the exact amount you will need.

This wont be needed just cap maximal Upp Fails to like 10-20 by Increasing Fail Correction from 0.3 to 5% (like many other Games have done in the past). Its okay that Upp is not 100% but not farming Months and Years like you do not wanna do something else with your Gametime.

Just uninstalled Tera. Guess I still just can because I started playing very recently. Sorry to break the illusion.Gameforge has not the luxury to think in terms of what is fun for the Gamer but only how they can get the most money out of the existing player base (because there are and there will be no new staying and paying player base). I wish you luck and all the best, think a lot before throwing more money at GameForge the next time ;). Is it realy worth it?

Another thing that definitely needs to be improved on are the sources for Legacy Essences in my opinion. Excluding the Commanders Residence there is pretty much no way for new players or twinks to farm these even though they made making a good pet much easier - but that doesn't really change that much when you still can't farm them efficiently. Should consider adding them to other Events since the dropped amount of CM is actually pretty good but sadly you're limited to 2 runs a week.

So apparently Ktera want to improve droprates for Soul Kaias Items. There is no solution for Soul Kaia reroll scrolls yet so this needs to be FIXED too, since players are unable to reroll their Items with Ingame sources available. I think that would be a beginning but I highly doubt that this increase will be enough to drasticly reduce the farm time for Soul+9 (from full kaia+15).

This will change nothing because the current "fix"/event is better than double droprate for farming these mats. And I doubt GF will keep this event when this goes live.

Sadly that's on average even worse than our current event. Man, is it really so hard to just increase the numbers a bit more
Literally no one wants to bother farming this shit for 19 months - even if they reduce it to maybe "only" 12 months its still way too freaking much. -
Easiest solution to this problem: Make all Soulkaia upp materials group loot. This will increase the overall droprate enough (even if we do not get the change that I mentioned earlier) to make +9 ingame farmable. And do not forget the thing with reroll scrolls it is literally impossible to reroll gear with only in game available materials and without the cash box/ ppl buying the cashbox...

What we currently need is a permanent double drop event (increasing the amount from 4 to 8 mats each run) and make EVERYTHING that drops as group-loot. With that people would actually be able to reach their gear within like 1.5 - 2 months which is completly fine in my opinion but seriously there need to be more changes than that one from K-Tera because going from 0.80 mats on average to 1.20 mats is absolutely NOT enough
that really has to be a joke.It's so simple - permanent double drop event & change everything to group loot. Least amount of work and you guys would fix a ton of the problems the whole community has with this game.

Some Improvements would be nice, i am not willing to pay in this game for anything anymore. Everyday playing like 2 hours is not enough to get anything done or improving in a good timely manner.
And i cant recommend TERA anymore to new players, or returning player at the current state, what i used to do in every single content.
People quitting left and right, and new player arent really coming these days eiter.

I think you forgot about semi enigmatic scrolls and spellbinds. We could choose our rolls only during the stormcry/heroic oath patches. But that was so good, probably one of the best patches ever, and still semis and spellbinds weren't even close to how bad this system is

I rather have spellbind and semis. There were only a handful of rolls you could get, so it was not too hard to get the stats you wanted. Now there are like 100 possible rolls instead of a handful rolls.
