Playing for what? Why you need best gear when you dont play the hardest dungeon? Can u answer this? What competition do you have when you habe hardest gear but dont go hardest dungeon? This ppl just want the gear for posing. They dont need it, but they want it.

NOBODY complains only about droprate. Droprate would be cancer, but "fine" if there wasnt the option to purchase all stuff in Terashop and by doing so replacing the actual content. This is the thing one has to argue about since we never had such trash in Terashop on Patchday and indirectly forcing players to pay for their Gear...
I agree with this pretty much. "Selling on Cash Shop" materials to get BiS while making drop rate from dungeons really low was one of the most greedy moves they could do. Obviously this is by no means something as a player one would like at all.
Best gear only for best players. If they cant clear it, they dont deserve best gear and esspeccially they dont need best gear.
They may need it but I don't think they deserve it, as in they didn't have to earn it, which would make them deserve it.

Also, you can get some horns from the box for elleon marks.
I can confirm I got them and was about to suggest it, still it's a low chance but you can farm this and gamble instead of going for the guaranteed. I believe this is the slow non p2w grindy alternative.
What motivation do you have to run the hardest dungeon when you get the best gear from other stuff?

Your only competition to get best gear is your ability to either pay with real cash or ingame gold.
Sad but true, though this was always an alternative because of the infamous pass runs, that on the other hand were great to help friends and guildies. Make bound on character only, guaranteed drop for each, hard to clear BiS and we'll be talking about competition to be the best. Though people may still sell or share accounts it should happen way less often.

For PvP. To duel and deathmatch (until they let you pk and GvG) people that are using it against you and compete on the fullest (non cheat) potential of your class. The answer is simple. It is called Civil Unrest. Posing and bragging rights aren't bad either though. But if you intend on being competitive and playing with or versus other players who are as well you may be interested in this.
PvP not your thing? worry not, there are also leaderboards and personal records to be topped and countless players that could use your help to be carried. Maybe even make some gold using this for your personal expenses on costumes and other QoL known as enjoying what the game has to offer.
Best gear for PvPers should drop in a dungeon? I say no to this! Either rework the PvP gear to work better for PvP than the PvE does or put the feedstock, wing and horn mats in the Bellicarium shop, as other threads point it can use an update.

Want to tell you, that we, players, have 2 problems with enchanting of new gear compare to the old one:
1) - Lumikan's Horn Piece can be obtained only in hard mode dungeon - Catalepticon (Hard)
2) -It is not tradable
Here we have a huge step back, compare to the old Kaia's Gear.
To make your gear from +7 to +9 you MUST get in hard mode dungeon. (Catalepticon (Hard))
But lots of people can not do that (or dont want to).
Also they can not buy it from other players (not tradable)
That means they will newer get +7-9 gear (if do not pay you for Lumikan's Treasure)
So i have a question - how you gonna change this situation or it is time to leave the game, because new gear is not for everyone?
I hope you remember, that old Kaia's enchanting materials :
and
(+10-15) was and is tradable and also had a chance to drop even from ordinary mobs on Exodor.
What is happening with game?

You can take it from lumikan chest, cost 100 eleon mark of valor, have an change to get 3, is not a verry good alternative but better than nothing. Problem with hard dungeon is another, to many elitist players, to many toxic ppl, they don`t want rookie in party, they don`t understand you need to learn mechs to can do dungeon, they expect from all to give 20-30 m/s, even if you are for first time in dungeon.. I stop playing because this toxic ppl, i start playing again now 3 weeks and i saw de disaster, many ppl stop playing tera because of this players, because of bad patch, to many rng to can get few good stats, to many time lose in game to get fail, fail, fail downgrade etc, to many gold spent in items and still get nothing. How i say, i start palying again now 3 weeks, things seems to be a little better now, i hope they don`t destroy it again.

THIS! This happens not even in hard mode dungeons, the moment you are all +15 and you need to grind for wing fragments, que CAT and/or DA, you are being gear checked and kicked before even performing just cuz you are low gear and don't meet elites damage standards. If they decide to keep everyone and damage is low or someone is dying and keeps using self rez, tank or heal (in my experience those are the ones that usually complain) will have time, during the fight, to trash those people or just rage quit so you have to wipe in order to get another person. That's why I stopped playing for now until next patch is up, cuz I have nothing to do in GV/RM/AQ and I'm tired of having an anxiety each time there is a pause before boss, waiting on whether I'll be kicked or not.
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but last patch was the only one in like 4+ years, where you could max out best gear without running the hardest dungeon at the time, so from this point, we are just running back to normal. There was always option for casual players in the mid gear, lets call it +6 now, and some extra bit for the top few, who want to play more competitive in hard dungeons.
In the end, with the +6 you can clear all below 501 within 5 min and if you don't aim higher, where is the problem in this? That you can't flex in catnm with your +9 and taunt players who go there with old kaias?
