    I've personally sat through two corporate mergers and countless mind numbing meetings on proper procedures in handling user data in 2020 alone. GDPR doesn't make transfer of data illegal, it only enforces certain rules when it is transferred. This isn't even a case of selling data to a 3rd party, when a company is outright bought out the parent company becomes the legal owner of all their assets and data with far less restrictions in place.


    Entire law firms sprang up specializing in compliance for M&A transactions after GDPR passed. We had to consult one the first time I went through an international merger after GDPR because our own legal dept in the US had zero experience handling it.

    I suggest you educate yourself before further embarrassing and exposing yourself while desperately defending your corporate overlord.

    I'm not sure the location of the game servers is relevant, the account information is what's at issue, not anything in the actual game. TBH, exactly how GDPR is applied seems to be clear as mud and open to interpretation, and you're probably right, most companies seem to take it to extremes to make sure all their bases are covered.

    It's goddamn ridiculous that Kaia is near flatlined and not even a mention of a merge or something. They won't even so much as give us any respect by at least responding and saying something, or we are looking into this. I will not be spending any more money on TERA unless either they fire all these guys and get new people or BHS decides enough is enough and pulls their contract.

    To be honest, the implication of what will likely happen if Bluehole self publishes TERA is just as concerning as Gameforge's apparent lack of care for our community.


    If you want, you can take a look at how Gameforge is handling the Soulworker closure. You can now take a look at Lion Games' post about this, revealing that they are self publishing. As they are the developer for Soulworker, we can kind of get a glimpse at what would likely happen if Bluehole were to self publish for EU & NA.

    Flaming and trolling is never accepted in any game. Tolerated, but you folks with your alts take it to the point of harassment.

    So sad, this game has already become a graveyard,
    in short.. at the current time, i need more than 8 hours to complete all x16 dungeon runs (from IM`s).

    And yes, the game has already become `Crazy P2W`, the new gear material needed for the upgrade itself was ridiculous, even they probably can`t be downgraded, but the failure rate is ultimately very high. If you find players that can be +12 so early, they must be buying the mats from the game shop.

    And, that's it, the only remaining of TERA,
    A good combat game, but the worst management system.
    I think it`s time for TERA to pass away... It`s like TERA already get Cancer with the last stadium and can`t be cured with any treatment.

    That part about early +12 is not quite true. Myself had several 100ds of Banyakas (useless to open after finishing "content" in the past so just store them, kind of p2win since needs Club), Medal of Conflict and several 10k stacks of Elleons Tokens and a bit of luck. But yes I totally agree that the amount of materials is ridiculous and droprate is trash. Tob and me made a Calculation about avg amount of Mats for a single Weapon without failure correction before Patch 108 and made several threads complaining this stuff, sadly nothing real has happened.

    Permanent Double Loot could kind of fix all of our problems.

    Avg of 6261 Blue powder for Weapon only is equivalent to 20 Million Gold (3.3k per powder currently on Yurian), excuse me? How is an avg player inteded to farm all of this?^^ With Corrections costs will quite drop, but still some Millions of gold for single Weapon. GF should just make permanent Double Loot and most problems will be fixed

    as I said we made the Calculation pre Mahtnan Patch without Failure Correction but yeah thats a better Calculation. Still massive grind needed to farm this stuff, which as the only purpose to share this table

    They don't wanna fix anything, all they want is you, to buy those RNG boxes and such in tera shop ^^

    The sad thing is that as long as whales keep buying those things, nothing will change, only p2w events, shit vg rewards, shit loot and shit ench chances will await us...

    Not the way to go if you want happy players in your "populated" game
