END-GAME Package recently released

  • Umm... it only takes 8 or 9 hours to go from level 1 to level 70 at a casual pace right now. Yes, it would take longer without league of levelers, but certainly not weeks, let alone months.

Now on one hand, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect players to level at least one character normally before allowing them to instantly level characters.

On the other hand, you don't actually learn to play the game while leveling anymore. There are still an abundance of people who level up normally and still fall in the "I don't know what I'm doing" category. So would it really make a difference?

Im not sure how long the gameplay is, however you must consider that:

1: most casual gamers can only spend 1-3 hours a day on games due to work, family and other needs

2: side quests are a thing that people do take as a form of completists

3: I dont want to waste that much time to regrind the same missions and running around (especially the citadel of torment, confusing as hell)

I can understand wanting a restriction of "you must complete the game without this" in order to obtain it, however, not everyone is interested in continuing the story or wanting the best gears. People like me just want to be at the high enough level to enjoy the rest of what the game offers: Crafting, fishing, possible roleplaying and even helping new players.

1: if a player is familiar with the game I can see endgame box being handy, however if it's a new player who hasn't reached actual end game at least once , giving him everything right away won't help his gaming experience.

2: I really , REALLY feel bad for people who do those quests to level up cuz they don't know any better

3: You don't have to do missions, hit lvl 20 and do dungeons , that's it (especially now during levelers event, you hit 2-3lvl in 1 dungeon run)

  • 1: Even playing 1 hour per day, that's still only a little over a week to go from level 1 to level 70.

2: I have to point out that these aren't required. You don't have to "regrind the same missions" over and over again. If you're doing them anyway for completionist purposes (which I've done. Three times) that's one thing, but it's not really relevant to a discussion about how tedious leveling is.

3: Since league of levelers started, I have leveled 5 characters from level 1 to level 70. I haven't had to do the Citadel of Torment once. In fact, I can count on one hand - and still have fingers left over - the number of dungeons you need to do more than once while leveling. So again, the notion that you will have to "regrind the same missions" is false.

You don't have to complete the story. Doing story quests is just the only (lv1-20) or best (lv65-70) way to level at certain points. And if all you want to do is craft and fish, you only need to get to level 68 which would shave an hour or more off of the leveling process.

As someone with an abundance of level 65 - 70 characters, I LIKE the leveling process - even as simple as it's become. In a game where everyone complains about how boring and repetitive the end-game content is, I don't understand why anyone would want to skip it since it gives you something different to do.

  • if i could level a valk i had no clue how to play to 70 in 2 days with a total off 9 hours logged in 1 off which was spent doing the optinal awakan quest line and drinking ale, ANYONE can hit 70 in a single weekend if there willing too...or even over a week at 2 hours a day...

98% of the game is too easy and dumbed down OR broken, only the top 4 dungions have any challange at all

  • There is more to the game than just dungeons. While yes, that is what progresses the story and gives you the best loot, one of my favorite things to do is the creation part. Gathering raw resources, smelting, fishing and such. Similar to minecraft, you dont have to go through the story to enjoy the game, however, gathering those resources can be hard when enemy npcs are on top of them and cancels your gathering when hit. For that reason, I chose the gunner because of the sentry ability. But you dont get the sentry until lvl 46 AND you cant craft until level 65.

As for the party dungeons issue, the best solution as to make sure you are working with a good party, is join a guild that is known or specifies in dungeons. It will give you a better chance of a better team.

You are the first person ever to tell me craft, fish and gathering are fun lmao. But it's not even close to the focus of the game and most of the time just useless sadly.

I do agree joining a guild can help around that but for end game content is difficult to even join guilds sometimes bc they request u are skilled on those and several players can't even get training for them. It's rare in general for a guild to have players spamming end game content accepting anyone, most run mid game content with some members on it doing their own static for end game out of the guild itself

  • Getting to 65 with an exp boost you get on leveling event or on vanguard at lvl 20 takes less than 3 hours of playtime if you get queues on dungeons. Experienced players can get to 65 in 1 hour. Doing the questline of 65 without any quest exp boost leaves you at lvl 67 half exp. Hitting 70 is not that bad with exp potions of 300-600. Out of leveling event is a little bit annoying as you need more or less 1 week of gv spam having no tc no exp pots.
