Audio Issues, cant hear sound in game

I've just installed the game after not playing for a pretty long time, but I cant hear any sound at all in game. I have been searching around, and I did see it was something to do with the audio driver I believe, my lap top is pretty much brand new. I was just hoping someone could tell me what exactly I need to do to correct this? I'm not super tech savvy, so I'm trying my best to understand, I was just really confused on the process.
