Console population how is it?

  • hey guys i have a question,

    is this game pretty populated on console?

    im looking for a new mmorpg but i dont want to invest all that time into a game thats mostly empty and dead

    so hows the game going?

    ill be playing it on the series s xbox console so should run ok


    i hope its alive it looks fun...

  • After playing on Mystel and Velika and comparing it with Console population... probably 3 or more times the active player base than PC has.


    Just active the Cross-Platform option, that way you will be able to play with PS players too. Otherwise Xbox player base is kinda low by itself.

    such a shame they chose to separate PC & console,yes i know console is behind in patches but still, the game need tons of players and they obviously don't give a shit about fixing it

    Console is in a diferent direction than PC version, its not about being behind patches, classes skills are diferent, they have diferent glyphs effects and story lore wise they have it more development (even if its just a little).


    If I have to make examples on one skill, Slayer Overhand Strike cooldown time is 2 seconds and can stack up to 2 times before going to cooldown again, while on PC version it cooldown is.. around 3.5 seconds (max cdr stats) and it has chances to reset after casting the skill. There are more diferences on other skills like Overpower, Hearth Thrust, Wirldwind Strike, Knockdown Strike and more. And just like Slayer all classes have diferences on their skills and glyphs compared with PC version.


    Story wise, they have a Story line quest that is a follow up from Stepstone Island, where you get to meet Anya again and this Story line will unlock quest at every 6-4 levels.


    The Apex quest is even larger than the original PC version we had first. They have introduced a new NPC in the quest before meeting with Verdas and you have to complete several things before reaching the point where you meet Verdas.


    To be honest there are lots of interesting things on Console version and it feels devs over there making a better work than PC devs so far.

  • basically a different tera,that's very interesting but still, i don't really understand the idea of making another version of the same mmorpg instead of gathering everyone on the same place,like FFXIV and is PC/Console crossplay

    they shouldnt split the devs team tho,they should make everyone work on the exact same projet to make the game better
