I don't think so. Some races have advantages on specific classes, but in overall elins still have the fastest animations and combat speed.
and I've read somewhere that elins also have the furthest teleport.
They fixed most of big differences between races, biggest one left is prolly sorc elin but even that is very small.
I agree with you on sorcerers. Elins have very smooth meteor strike during mana boost and nova is pretty fast, every other skill is pretty much the same as other races.

Oh, I didn't know that! Glad I already play as an Elin Sorcerer.
The difference is very small that you wont even noticed.
I would just take race that u like to play the most, trust me its crusial! XD
