Rolling for loot should be removed

  • I'm not going to mince words here: why is this system still in the game?

I'm sure most of us are aware that the "goal" of TERA at this point is to optimize a character abilities as far as possible. So why is there still a system in place whereupon I have to gamble against my own teammates - friends, guildmates, or otherwise - in order to get the items necessary to achieve such? Dare I say, the days of the honor system are long gone (if they even existed, also, when you really think about it, friggin' lol), and it can't be a technical issue since there are some items that indeed go to everyone in the party so long as someone or something collects it, so why not just extend that to all items?

While I certainly can't speak for everyone, I'm sure a great many players would appreciate it if rolling for loot was completely abolished (I know I would). Everybody gets everything, no questions asked.

  • +1 make everything party-loot. Have been wanting and requesting it for years since there is nothing worse than running dungeons and getting nothing because of bad luck.

    Done.

  • I agree, it's a team effort, why should rare items(or anything) just go to one person

  • prob cause the loot is balanced around that (1 per party vs 1 per person). Should just give everyone 1/party_size fragment tokens then have a shop so once you get party_size number of fragments you can buy the item per person
