After the Berserker comes the Slayer class, whose weapon of choice is a mighty two-handed sword. In contrast to the Berserker, the Slayer carries a sword which is so enormous that it can only be held with the support of two hands.
Despite his hefty weapon the Slayer’s armour is relatively lightweight, much like the armour favoured by Warriors and Archers. This means his agility is less affected than the Berserker’s and he can dodge oncoming attacks by dropping and rolling sideways.
Thanks to the extensive range of the Slayer’s sword he is perfectly adapted for taking on large groups of opponents, which he can inflict massive damage on in one fell swoop. Using his Whirlwind skill the Slayer is also able to dispatch droves of smaller enemies with the speed of a rushing gale.
When a Slayer happens upon a single opponent he concentrates on his overhand strikes, which can bring down even the largest and strongest of foes. Like Berserkers, experienced Slayers can mete out fivefold damage upon opponents already brought to their knees.
Another trait shared with the Berserker is the heavy reliance on mana for the most powerful skills. Using combo-attacks and repeated strikes the Slayer gradually builds up strength and can then use his most powerful attacks, sending foes reeling to the ground.
The Slayer is able to utilise additional skills, which, for a few seconds at least, allow him to execute his attacks without losing any mana. The Slayer also possesses skills which temporarily increase his speed. These, together with his dodging roll, quickly bring enemies within the range of his deadly weapons.
