Is there going to be a name change feature implemented in this game mode? Or does it change by season? My name was taken somehow but I feel like I should've explored other options.
If a name already exists on the server in normal mode (TERA MMO), then it cannot be used on the same server in battle mode (TERA Battle Arena). Simply put, on the server Kaia there is your character with the name Fang, so you can't take that name in TBA. Whether it will be possible to change the name in the TBA mode in the future – unfortunately, it is still unknown.
