Failed to launch

  • I think i found a way ,

    on steam my game stop to working after i migrate , i uninstalled it and install TERA from gameforge app , same issue , cant launch the game

    i unninstalled the launcher and go in the TERA game folder and start the TERA LAUNCHER , he make a 700 MB update and i was able to play after that

  • I am getting a failure to launch every time I try to log in the game. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, I have verified the files. This started last month before the transfers while still on steam and I have removed everything from steam and the old Tera with En Masse and I am STILL getting the Failed to Launch. An error has occurred. Please try again later. I have tried to post a support ticket but it will not go through. Every time I try to submit nothing happens it just refreshes the page. This is really just annoying. I loved playing Tera but how can I play if I can't get into the game?

    I have been having this same issue and I checked Steam and deleted TERA completely. Still the same issue. I have exhausted all possibilities on my end to get TERA working. The fact that this is not going smoothly is really rough on the players that want to keep playing TERA.

    After clicking "Play" game is stuck at loading.

    Please see attached screens.


    Tried writing to support but it gives error of incorrect e-mail & password. Whereas it logs in ok in Gameforge client.


    Anyone have similar issues?

    Because in the support system you need to create a separate account (you can use the same mail as for the account in the Gameforge system), since the platform are not linked to each other.

    After clicking "Play" game is stuck at loading.


    A similar problem arose among some players after updating with a 64-bit client (due to a conflict between the game and the client with modified files and mods), and the simplest and often the only correct solution was to completely reinstall the game. But if you downloaded the game recently after the migration and did not change original game files (ini-files or using mods), and also did not try to run third-party software (which is prohibited by the "General Terms of Use" document, btw), then the problem may be in something else.


    You can try reinstalling the games completely. Or check the integrity of game files (click on the arrow to the right of the "Play" button and select "🔧 Repair" button in the drop-down menu). Uninstalling and reinstalling the Gameforge Client application can resolve rare startup issues. But it is better, of course, to contact the Support Team directly, describing in detail the situation and all the actions taken.

    Upd: Gameforge support system is working very well.

    Received feedback in 1 day with clear steps to be followed.

    Now game is running, all is good.
