Same issue here, tried to reinstall/repair/restart pc, nothing worked.
Same here.... I jast migrated from NA ![]()
Edit.... dang... I didn't read the fine print. Servers are not coming online till November 12
Hey all--Im getting the same message about not launching. This is what EnMasse has stated about the transfer:
Service Transfer Timeline
Account Migration
Account Migration page: http://bit.ly/TERA_migrate
You can complete Account Migration any time between October 22 and December 18 at 14:59 UTC. If you complete account migration before En Masse servers go offline on November 9, you will still be able to play until that date.
Note: this is for NA servers to go online, and they don't go online until Nov 9th. There will be special goodies given out to those accts that migrate within the time period. But you can still play on EnMasse until Nov 9th even though you have started your migration process.
Happy Gaming!!
But you can still play TERA on EnMasse until that time.
the same problem the third day, no changes
I have the same problem trying to migrate. In theory everything would be fine, but I can't connect for that reason. It is also rare that most problems are occurring due to account migration. Hopefully it will be solved soon. I also made a ticket in the gameforge support. Hopefully they give me solutions since I tried absolutely everything I found on the internet and nothing works.
Having that error, then I switched to the Gameforge EU game from the server in the options, does nothing. Goes back to Windows.
Good morning,
please keep in mind that Gameforge will open the NA servers on 12th of November.
If you keep having this error please contact our support. Link: https://tera.support.gameforge.com/

Mine is acting weird. Yesterday didn't launch... It popped the Tera image when loading, then disapears and stays in Windows. The Gameforge launcher button says "Play" (when loading, it says "playing"). Well, yesterday I made a Repair, and it worked, I was able to login and play. Now it happened again... The game account selected is the correct one (Europe), so it doesn't seem related to the migration.
got the same problem too
Because the new servers for NA players will launch on 12th of November.

thanks for the info ma'am.
I had an issue related to this a few days ago:
Short version:
If you have issues launchiing Tera, confirm where your Tera instalation files are, you must have TWO separate Tera's, one for EME, one for GF. Until November 12th, at least. Then you remove EME Launcher and Tera's folder assigned to it. After I reinstalled EME Tera in a new folder picked by me, and after repairing GF Tera, both Tera's run now ![]()
So in detail:
Until EME announced the game migration, I only had EME Launcher installed. Then I setup my Gameforge account I already had, linked both accounts, installed Gameforge Launcher. I played both games in turn, to check if everything was ok. But yesterday I found that I only had ONE Tera instalation folder... How was that possible? Suddenly neither Tera NA or EU were opening, Tera NA with an error, Tera EU with no error (click play, goes back to windows with no error).
I feel there was some type of missconfiguration, and one Tera launcher was using the other instalation folder. As I had already tried to open both games, I assume they already had changed some internal configuration, and it broke something. Yesterday night I finished repairing EME Tera's instalation folder in EME Launcher, I explicitly installed the game in a non-existent folder. Ran the game fine.
Right now I am waiting for the Gameforge launcher to finish Tera's repair to see if that will work, then I will check EME Tera again to confirm.
So with both launchers installed, I believe one game launcher could have "found" the existing Tera folder from the other launcher and tried to use it as its own.
OK, I have had the EME launcher & Tera client installed on a separate drive specifically for my games. After migrating my account to GF I downloaded the GF launcher & Tera client. Unfortunately there is no way to control where GF launcher installs but there is for the client. I have tried installing the Tera client to my games drive as well as to the default location with no change. I have disabled Windows firewall and defender as well as my antivirus software. I have verified there isn't anything in my host file as well. I have installed and uninstalled multiple times, re-downloaded the GF launcher installer. Windows is a standard 10 Pro version updated as well as all drivers. Nothing has changed the outcome. I have disabled ipv6 on my pc, on my router and on both with no change. Took my pc to my daughter's house and same result. So it is neither my router or internet. My EME Tera client loads just fine but the GF Tera client gives me this error. However, my daughter and son in law's pc's load it just fine. My son has the exact AM4 motherboard & ram as me but with an older cpu, and with an Nvidia gpu instead of my AMD and his gets the error as well. My daughter and her husband both have Intel system, one has an Nvidia gpu and the other an AMD and both load to the server select screen without the error. I will be installing this on my wife's pc later tonight which is an AMD apu based system to see what happens with it. This is very frustrating as I have never had this issue with the EME client.

Hello,
it is normal to get a message 'An error has occurred please try again later'' when you trying to launch the game through GF client for the first time. Unless you were playing on EN side before, the system will give you this error due to the fact that the servers for NA will open on 12th of November.
You will find the above also in our FAQ

That would understandable except you missed where I stated that this issue is not present on either my daughter & son in law's pc's that are Intel based. I have further tested this on 2 more AMD based system's with the same error happening. It has nothing to do with first time log in or server as I am not even getting to that option before the error.

Check which region (Europe or North America) you selected in the Gameforge Client, perhaps the problem may lie in this. Also, please clarify which of your family (you, your daughter or son) migrated from En Masse and whether your accounts were created or the migration took place to existing accounts.
Launch the Gameforge Client. Go to the Library and select TERA from the games.
After that, click on the name of your game account:

And check the selected region:

Region seems to have been the issue, I did not think of this as none of us changed any region settings so not sure how my daughter and son in law's client got set to Europe. Thank you for your assistance.
Have same issue, but my account was created in EU since 2014 year. That's dumb that there aren't any error indicactor what's happening other that general.
