Issue Downloading TERA through Gameforge Client

    Hi i migrated my account and ive been trying to download TERA through the gameforge client for weeks now. I made a ticket but they basically said its not the client, its me, and closed the ticket, didnt even try to help me figure out my problem. My internet is always great, i have enough space, and usually have no issues with my PC at all and when i download the game via enmasse or steam its fairly fast and easy.


    My issue is when i try to download TERA through the Gameforge Client it starts downloading but as soon as i get to 22% the time estimated jumps to up to 500+ hours and just sits there. Ive paused it and closed the client and started download again but it starts back at 0% everytime and does the same thing. I have no idea what to do. ;(

    Hello, mine did this also but at 94% it went down to speeds of 100kb/s. I just randomly paused and resumed it and that got it to finish. But at any rate it wont even launch and just errors out anyway. May be time I say goodbye to Tera after all.

    Ive tried to pause and continue as well but doesnt work for me. I think i may have to say goodbye to the game as well.

    I would wait, since you mentioned Steam, and see if you can download the game from Steam starting November 12th when our servers open finally without any issues.

    Try to leave the download in the game client alone for a while. Several months ago, some players said that they had a similar situation when the progress visually stopped at a certain percentage, but in the end it was only a visual error and the download process continued, they just had to wait a while. Uninstalling and reinstalling the Gameforge Client application can resolve rare startup issues.
