Game is currently unavailable to you

  • Now, I tried to read through all of these so my apologies if someone said this somewhere. I've had this same issue off and on since the NA servers went up but for me the issue was to always exit out and then open it up again.


    Now, that may seem simple enough BUT unless you toggle a certain setting in the client settings then when you hit the big "X" in the top right corner of the client, it minimizes instead of closing out fully. In my case, going to task manager and closing all Gameforge processes from there and then restarting the client works for me. It may or may not fix your issues but I just wanted to make sure that it is known that this might be a possible solution.


    Click on your little account drop down in the client > Settings > Client Settings > Close button exits the Gameforge Client

    This worked for me. As you said, you need to make sure all the Gameforge processes are shut down. Otherwise, you end up stuck with the same error.


    After closing everything down, I restarted the client, which then auto-updated and BAM, the problem went away. The tricky part is that it can look like you closed it, but in fact it's still running in the background!

  • Can anyone on here answer with any names of the "3rd party programs" could be blocking the launch of the game? Just asking because support keeps giving this answer over and over and over again, and it's very vague and doesn't tell me anything

  • Today I got same trouble on all accounts that I have. I started playing in Tera on Enmasse NA, than later was opened RU region. Now I have some accounts that crossed between NA/RU.


    I played rather free, but I decided to check out what happens on NA region and got red noticement. OK! I was met this f***g message before and usually I need to spend some time and return back. And today I did as before exit from tray, and start shortcut, ok, no effect: logout, exit from tray, wait some, login... WTF??? And I noticed that crossed account that was opened on NA Tera few minutes ago suddenly blocked. I check four accounts (crossed and stand alone) and each of them got red stripe on top of launcer. I visited support for where is written that I need to exit from tray. So it is not work NOW.


    Maybe it is BAN IP??? It is look like so!!!

    Ohhh, do not recommend me turnoff VPN, or disable some soft. I have no VPN, I playing today well on same hard- and software, untill I decided to check out NA Tera (BTW I was there 7 days ago - so says launcher in one tab). After it any login for any server get red stripe notification.

  • IT IS SECURITY BUG! It really IP-Ban range! I just use RDP to login on my (don't laugh!!!! :gamer: ) workplace and start launcher without any warnings. I think that "someone tuned security through ass-hole"!!! :thumbdown:

  • I guess I'll just have to wait till after the 12th, I have no ban on my account that I'm aware of (I'm a founder account, started day 1 paying for it and all up until free to play) I do have a Dynamic IP address with my provider, but I refuse to pay my ISP more $$$ just to play 1 game (Static IP's with either provider I could go with are an extra cost)

    I don't use a VPN, nor do I have an anti-virus, or a firewall except for my router, which already has the ports for Tera forwarded unless they've changed under Game Forge, are there any ports GF recommends forwarding?

  • i think i registered by accident my account with OPERA VPN, when the admin of tera EME told me about create a new account here for the transfer


    could this be related to any permanent ban for use opera vpn for register the account here?


    was an accident, i just had to log in in opera browser because the registration failed on chrome and firefox

    The use of third-party connections (as an option, a VPN) can affect this, yes, but in such cases, the blocking is usually temporary (from several minutes to several days). :/

    well, i registered the account through opera VPN because firefox and chrome was failling to register, i noticed too late that the VPN was activated in opera..........


    that was on 21 november, now is day 30


    from eme they told me this in the end after 10 messages

    Mine has been since Oct 29th, that's when I opened my support ticket, and yet still no resolution. All answers from support are also very vague "something on your PC is doing this" Ok that's cool, I don't disbelieve that, but can I get an answer that actually points me in a direction to look to troubleshoot? Latest answer was:

    "You could check the incident report while starting TERA to see what might cause the issue.

    This is a basic feature of all Windows operating systems."

    But as I've already told them several times Event Viewer in Windows shows no errors, trying to see if they can give me any log locations of their software or Tera now
