  • Apparently my MAC address was banned.

    Today I received a reply to the ticket and they resolved it. Anyone who is still with this problem advise to send a ticket.

    I sincerely hope this is some sort of joke.


    GameForge surely isn't actually banning MAC Addresses...

    Raederle please tell me there's a good reason GameForge goes this extra unnecessary step that you can share with us. It's almost as easy to spoof MAC Addresses as it is IP Addresses. What in the world would compel GameForge to ban MAC Addresses, and especially of those migrating? :/

  • I just got a reply, seems if you log in multiple accounts in a short period of time it will automatically suspend you. They said do not attempt any logins for 12 hours and you should be fine. Anyone know what amount of time is needed between alt account logins before you get the hit?

    I only have 1 account myself, although I will say I try to login a few times a day to troubleshoot this issue, but the logins themselves are about 24 hours apart as it's usually after work, and I don't try again until after work the next day.

  • Hello. I tried to play TERA just now and after logging into the launcher I see this message and cannot play. When I click support it asks me to log in but after trying I get the message "the data you entered is incorrect" even though it is. I tried multiple times. Please help.

    Because in the support system you need to create a separate account, since the platform are not linked to each other. A helpful guide on how to do that is here.

    Update: Restarting my PC seems to have fixed the issue. The message went away. Very strange.

    A similar message usually appears if you receive a temporary block. Such blocking most often occurs when you have a dynamic IP address (you can check this with your provider), or because of some connections (for example, VPN). The temporary blocking period varies from a few minutes to ~24 (or more) hours.


    I got the exactly same message, tried restartting but I had no luck, anyone can help?

    Yes, MissTao I've been researching this issue for the past 6 hours, which I can assume this whole thing is such a gigantic idiocy from GF part, your MAC address being directly banned for checking your own accounts? maybe for how even long? geez, the support page not working at all? Whoa what a surprise!, I also learned the support tickets take ages for them to respond, If you are lucky enough you will get an actual response instead of a bot generated one, man, what a shame, being freshly migrated dude who wanted to play on Sunday, but I guess I'm some kind of evil turbohacker for trying to log on my accounts, Jesus Christ, talk about the important first impression, but hey It seems I have to wait TWELVE HOURS If I am lucky, I also learned from another board that the community is really at it limit with GameForge, but that is a touchy subject, maybe If instead of researching on google how to resolve the "currently unavailable for you" problem I could be playing Tera with my slayer Popori, I would not have a clue of all of this, but hey, really makes you think.

    What I've learnt that truly sickens me:

    DON'T LOG IN WITH MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS ON A "SMALL" PERIOD OF TIME OR YOUR MAC ADDRESS GET BLACKLISTED OR BANNED FOR MAYBE HOW MANY HOURS!
    No fresh Gameforge client reinstall or system restart is gonna fix this. Maybe If you are lucky the error goes away.

    But MissTao, you seem to misunderstood the intention of my message, my intention is not to "insult" (who dared to insult you I wonder) but to inform to future folks what to possibly avoid to not suffer some shameful headache, and whats better than avoiding pointless misleading directions to the support page than explaining straight to the point what may be causing the trouble in the first place making use of the biggest font size possible, I don't see how my comment may not help at all, If multiple searches on google didn't solve anything related to this trouble for months, then maybe this exact post would do.

    Oh, well, then you also did not quite understand my message: I didn't say that you insulted me, just said that you shouldn't be so negative about the support service and the company as a whole.


    Situations are different and not always what you have highlighted in large print is suitable for 100% of cases.


    People on this forum, when users share their problem, usually list possible options, common causes of problems and, accordingly, what solutions can be, but this is not a panacea and often still comes to the conclusion that for each individual situation is necessary to contact the Support. In addition, tickets to the Support help specialists determine the "mass character" of a particular problem, which in turn can, if necessary, lead to various optimizations. :)

  • Received response from support 1 hour ago, everything is now unlocked and working.

    Perhaps it was some sort of system-security thing that temp. suspened my account - if you struggle with similar issue, again - just contact support. Might be only temp thing, might be not.

  • Now, I tried to read through all of these so my apologies if someone said this somewhere. I've had this same issue off and on since the NA servers went up but for me the issue was to always exit out and then open it up again.


    Now, that may seem simple enough BUT unless you toggle a certain setting in the client settings then when you hit the big "X" in the top right corner of the client, it minimizes instead of closing out fully. In my case, going to task manager and closing all Gameforge processes from there and then restarting the client works for me. It may or may not fix your issues but I just wanted to make sure that it is known that this might be a possible solution.


    Click on your little account drop down in the client > Settings > Client Settings > Close button exits the Gameforge Client

  • Yet, it really makes me wonder if anyone at the support side bothered to read all the informations I provided, perhaps to fix it in near future.

    In my experience they don't read past the first sentence, they just keep telling me to do the same thing over and over, I'm seriously starting to wonder if I'm just talking to an AI at this point...

  • I was told to open these ports by support, but no luck in fixing my issues (I asked them what ports)
    TCP 7801 bis 7810TCP 80TCP 443TCP 4566

    I've disabled all the services for any VPN software installed on my PC (I do have a single VPN software that I use, but not when gaming) and still the same issue, I even made sure all previous versions of the game were clean uninstalled. Asked Support to check their end as they've never said anything about it. Pretty sure I'm about to just uninstall GameForge/Tera, I mean they can't even give me a straight answer, just instead keep copy/pasting the same thing over and over.
