[TERA America] Questions regarding the migration

  • Since I'm not entirely sure if you can offer an answer Melione, I would like to ask anyways.

    On NA, we had go-kart mounts that were removed. If we had multiple temporary ones, we were given Mount Tickets to replace them, as anyone with permanent ones (I believe) were allowed to keep theirs in accordance to KTERA's NEXON. These Mount Tickets were allowed to give us one of 8 different mounts per ticket and those mounts would last for 7 days. Are these still good when we migrate over? Will the shop change or be removed, or will it be ported over and still usable?

    EDIT: I would also like to ask about the temporary items in Item Claim. If we wait until the last day to claim those items, and they expire or lose time during the period between our servers shutting down, and your servers going live, can we have those items reclaimed or reimbursed, or are these temporary items just wasted? I have almost 5 pages of temporary items that still have anywhere between a year and 1000 days to claim still, as I don't have characters (yet) for those items to be used properly and would rather them not go to waste, as once I claim them, the items temporary duration will begin.

    EDIT 2: In regards to inactive Guilds; My ex-fiance had multiple alts he leveled before dropping off the face of the earth.. All of his alts take up the "top 5" of the Guild list, and I'm in 6th. Since it says the 'second' does that include the GM's alts or non-alts? Meaning that I wouldn't be able to take over our Guild? (I say 'our' as I originally was the owner, gave it to him, and for almost a year, nobody but me has been active, including my ex-fiance. I asked EME if they'd transfer ownership. They never would without his permission.)

    Thanks for any information you might be able to provide!

    Hello!

    the best is to exchange these Mount tickets. However we cant say for sure if the content will stay the same or not.

    As about the items in Item Claim, unfortunately we didn't plan to compensate for the time lost on the temporarily items. Please remember that unclaimed items in Item Claim might get lost after the transfer.

    In this case, I believe our support will be able to help you with this matter after 12th of November.

  • I'll slightly supplement Melione's answer:

    There are too many tokens and temporary items to even try to compile a complete list of what may remain after migration, and what will most likely be lost. In the situation with the RUtoEU migration, for many players some of the temporary items were lost, but some remained. A similar situation was with tokens (although in most cases the assortment was different). Therefore, it is advised to exchange all available tokens for items of the assortments. It's more difficult with temporary items... In this case, you probably just need to put up with it.

    If the Guild Master is absent from the game for more than 6-12 months, then the leadership can be transferred to another member of the guild. An important point: in order to get the right to manage a guild, you must be a member of this guild (there may also be some additional condition for obtaining supremacy, but this can be clarified already in the Support). Although, it will probably have to wait until the end of the migration period to qualify to be the new Guild Master (though this may not be necessary). In any case, do not hesitate to contact the Support Team after 12th of November. :)

    I have a problem, I am trying to migrate my ENMASSE account with an existing GF account, but when it redirects me to this page it doesnt allow me to log in, I only get the option to create a new account. I have tried to log in my GF account in another tab and it won't let me. I am doing something wrong? Im blind?

    Hello,

    try resetting your password and try again. Please let me know if it helped solving the issue.

    It didnt help, i reseted my password but it redirected me to GF home page, im logged in but can't migrate.

    Try to clear the cookies of the browser you are currently using and perform a delete of the temp internet files,

    In case this doesn't work, you can also try to perform the migration with a different web browser., like Opera or Edge.

  • Hi! Do we also need to use our fashion coupons now or are we still be able to use the fashion coupons after we migrate?

    Hello! Let me tell you how it was with the migration from Russia. Before migration, we did not use the accumulated coupons, leaving them. After the migration, the assortment of our old coupons included new European coupons, for which old coupons could be exchanged (while maintaining their quantity). Perhaps a similar situation could be for NA players (but this is not certain, so the final decision is yours).

  • Although the server structure will remain the same, will migrated players be able to choose between the NA servers initially once they go live or will they be placed in what they were in pre-migration?
    Just worded a tiny bit strange in FAQ

    Ex. PvE player automatically placed in PvE server | PvP player auto placed in PvP server

    Considering this is a manual move/transfer of the servers, chances are our PvE characters will be kept on PvE and PvP on PvP.

  • im trying to migrate my account and when i get to the login/register page, it just keeps saying field required, even when i have clearly typed in my email again in the second slot.

  • Hey, I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place for this, but I'm just trying to find some confirmation for my questions. This migration process has me kinda panicking!

    I'm a new NA player who was doing their account migration today. It's all really confusing and, admittedly, a bit scary, but I believe I have successfully moved my En Masse Data to Gameforge. There isn't a confirmation which makes paranoid me more paranoid, but when I try migrating again it says my account has been migrated so I think that's a good sign? Can't wait to find out that none of my data transferred eventually! (lol)

    I had also read on the FAQ that Steam account data also needed migrated, but I can't seem to figure out where that migration takes place? I looked on Steam and I didn't see anything prompting me there to migrate that data. Did it automatically migrate with my En Masse since they're already linked? Or will the option appear when the new servers appear November 12th? If anyone else who has gone through this process and knows what to do or what happens, or can just say I'm being paranoid, I'd really appreciate it! Can't wait to see what the new servers will have to offer!

    Thank everyone!

    Former EME player who thinks she completed migration... she hopes she did... this is all confusing :S

    Try cleaning your browser history, cookies and cashe. If the same issue occurs, try using another browser.

    :elin16:Good morning,

    for the migration to be successful a confirmation email isn't required. A simple redirection to a "Thank you" page is the sign you need to know that everything went smoothly. Also the fact that you tried to migrate again and couldn't is a sign that your account has been already transferred.

    The migration through steam will be possible after November the 12th

    Stay safe!

  • I had a question regarding the migration of accounts to GameForge. What happens if I have an EU account (En Masse), and NA account (Steam). I just attempted to migrate both, but both use the same email address. How do I know if both have been successfully migrated? Can both these accounts be migrated to the same GameForge account?

    Hello,

    if you have an EU account that means that you are playing through Gameforge, since we are the publishers of the EU servers. In this case you will have to migrate your steam account on the 12th of November once the servers are live.

    To answer your question regarding if two accounts can be migrated to the same Gameforge account : Yes, this is possible.

    Kindly

    The Steam database will remain on Steam and the EME client database will be transferred to Gameforge client. At least, this is exactly how it was done in previous practices of the region's migration to Europe.

    But here's what the topic [FAQ] TERA AMERICA says about Steam:

    How do I know if both have been successfully migrated?

    If after following the migration steps you have been redirected to a "Thank you" page, then this means you have completed the migration successfully. Then you can try to check something:

    • Launch the Gameforge Client;
    • Go to the Library and select TERA from the games;
    • After that, click on the name of your game account (as in this screenshot);
    • Then change the region to "North America" (as in this screenshot).

    Below, you should see all of your migrated in-game accounts associated with your Gameforge account. If there is something on the list, you can relax – the migration process was probably successful. Nevertheless, be sure to contact the Support Team if, after the launch of new servers, you have any difficulties with your account.

    Can both these accounts be migrated to the same GameForge account?

    Yes, two and more EME accounts can be migrated to the same Gameforge account. But you cannot combine two different Gameforge accounts with each other.
