Hi I m wondering why, when I did my migration, it has my Tera account set to Europe when I am in North America? Is there any way to be able to fix this? I also was not able to merge it via steam and when I have tried in the last few weeks to still play it from EME through Steam, it just keeps giving me a crash message. I uninstalled it due to this
[TERA America] Questions regarding the migration

hello, same here. i am in north america, but will i be playing on european servers or north american servers? i have already successfully migrated my account, per the gameforge notification.

yo , i have two questions regarding the 'game account' system ...
i. is there a limit as to how many eme accounts can be hosted by a single gameforge account ?5 , 10 , 50 , 100 , limitless ?

ii. assuming there is no limit
or that the limit is quite high, how can i change the game account name to something that is more easily identifiable ? having them named 'main' , 'farm' , etc makes more sense to me than dryMouse5678 , sunnyDonut1234 , etc ... so i was looking for a way to rename it , and when i clicked the cog icon beside the account name tag , i got redirected to a tera account management page , but i fail to see any means of changing its name there .
that's all for now

There is no exact information, but it seems like some players said that the limit is about 100 accounts.

Unfortunately, it is technically impossible to change the name of the game account at the moment.

Your characters have been transferred to new servers intended for NA players, that is, you cannot manually select the server (as well as the region) where you would like to transfer your characters, since the process is automated. In the future, you can change the region of your Gameforge account and create new characters on European servers if you wish.

You should contact the Support Team on this issue after 12th of November.

Than how do we Know if its the right account thats being migrated than? cause the instructions clearly stated to create a gameforge account than you are suppose to link your Eme Account to the gameforge account? since i did not get a email stating the migration process was successful would like to know if the right account was migrated before it gets deleted than i lose all my characters and stuff I earned from playing over time.
Hello! You can try to check something:
- Launch the Gameforge Client;
- Go to the Library and select TERA from the games;
- After that, click on the name of your game account (as in this screenshot);
- Then change the region to "North America" (as in this screenshot).
Below, you should see all of your migrated in-game accounts associated with your Gameforge account. If there is something on the list, you can relax – the migration process was probably successful. Nevertheless, be sure to contact the Support Team if, after the launch of new servers, you have any difficulties with your account.

Having same issue. I migrated from America, so I know I can't connect to the American server, but was able to connect to the EU server mystel yesterday and create a character. Today no dice I get the same red banner at the top of launcher whenever I try to launch the game on any of my accounts.

Rose NA--check the forums. There was a posting on "Failure to launch" that is there that may help.

Often, a similar message about the unavailability of the game for you appears in Gameforge Client for the following reasons – if you have a dynamic IP address (you can check this with your provider), or because of some connections (for example, VPN). This means that your account is temporarily blocked. In such cases, unlocking can occur when the game client is restarted or up to ~48 hours. You should contact the Support to find out for sure.

Will the new launcher be able to use my Steam game client, or will I have to download everything all over again? I tried a few different ways, but it didn't seem to work.

I didn't see this question address in any of the FAQs so I thought I would ask here. I'm a very old school Tera player and purchased 2 copies of the game way back at NA launch. Thus I actually have 2 Tera game accounts in my Enmasse account (TERA and TERA2 as shown in the attachment).
I completed the account migration process already, but can anyone confirm if both of the game accounts will migrate to my new Gameforge account? How does Gameforge handle multiple game accounts currently?
Thanks!

Hello there!
Your account will be migrated into tha NA servers. Please remember that the servers will be live on 12th of November on our side.
As its stated in our FAQ account linking between the Gameforge Client and Steam will work after migrating on Steam as well.
Please not that migration over steam will be possible after 12th of November.hello, same here. i am in north america, but will i be playing on european servers or north american servers? i have already successfully migrated my account, per the gameforge notification.
Hello!
your account will be transferred to the NA servers. Now, if you wish to play on the EN servers you will have to start anew, since transferring from the NA server to EN and vise versa will be not possible.
Will the new launcher be able to use my Steam game client, or will I have to download everything all over again? I tried a few different ways, but it didn't seem to work.
Hi! Quoting a point from our FAQ :
How does the migration work?
• In order to begin the migration process, please visit the migration website of En Masse Entertainment and login with your EME credentials (We will share the link here at a later time).
• You will then be forwarded to Gameforge’s migration website.
• There you will need to create a new Gameforge account or sign in with an existing one.
• If you also played TERA on Steam, you will be asked whether you want to migrate on Steam as well. Please note that account linking between the Gameforge Client and Steam will only continue to work by successfully migrating on Steam as well.Please keep in mind that migration over the steam client won't be possible before 12th of November

Good morning,
once you migrated both of your game accounts they will be transferred to Gameforge. You will be able to manage your accounts through the client. You can find more information here: TERA on Gameforge.com

It never asked to migrate my Steam stuff, which is why I asked here. I read the FAQ already and it didn't cover how to initiate that. It may be that I had an account with Tera before it went to Steam and I've merely been using the launcher and never synced the two, but I have no idea how to fix that. I don't mind redownloading the game, but I hate to waste time.

Probably, you will have to download the game client (Gameforge or Steam) in any case, since these are different regions, therefore, the "assembly of files and data" may differ.
