Hello,
Is it possible to make section regarding migration in https://tera.support.gameforge.com/
In haste I made mistake by creating Gameforge account under my linked account which was not intentional.
I would want to removed that Gameforge account but still link my NA account to my actual GF account.

Hi. I hope this is the right place to be asking about this.
To start my NA migration, I downloaded and installed the Gameforge Client. Except it didn't ask me where I wanted to install it, it just... installed. Predictably, I found it on my C drive. How do I install/move it somewhere else?

Hello,

Hello,
we don't recommend or support any manual client file transfers as it can lead to different issues. Keep in mind that while the Client is by default installed on C drive, you can still install the games wherever you want.

I don't know if I was suppose to do this but, here goes. I made a new email for Tera and used that one instead of my email I used on my eme account when I migrated over. Will I be fine or do I have to change my email to my old one?

Hello,
your Gameforge Client account can have a different email from your EME account. You don't have to do any changes.

Thank you for the reply.
I don't really want to do any 'manual client file transfers' since those tend to break programs, but sometimes it's possible.
What I really want to do is to be able to choose where I install the Gameforge Client (like most programs let you do). My C drive is my OS drive and as such, doesn't have a lot of free space so I would very much like to keep it clean and install the Gameforge Client to a different drive.

Hello Maisee,
As mentioned above, the client will install itself by default on the C driver. I can understand your concern but there isn't much we can do about this.

Open GF client > settings and check with which game account you are trying logging in. If its correct account, then yea, support

Than how do we Know if its the right account thats being migrated than? cause the instructions clearly stated to create a gameforge account than you are suppose to link your Eme Account to the gameforge account? since i did not get a email stating the migration process was successful would like to know if the right account was migrated before it gets deleted than i lose all my characters and stuff I earned from playing over time.

If after following the migration steps you have been redirected to a "Thank you" page, then this means you have completed the migration successfully.

You can also test it by trying to re-migrate the account. It will show you a message that the account has already migrated to gameforge. That's how i tested it to be sure.

okay. thanks
