#support is here, #moderator does not participate in the creation of events.
All information about the events can be found in a special section of the forum here.
You can also read quick overview on events for the month at our Google calendar – October.
30% ppl
The outflow of some part of the players occurred due to the update of the game client to 64-bit and, accordingly, the increase in the system requirements. Leaving players is a common and normal practice in any game. Someone left, someone came.
Why do people spam with the same emoticons. The emotion is quite understandable after one smiley.

missTao event of october is same of last 4 mounth nothing new on tera 6 mounth know with nothing special
Regular monthly bonuses. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
At the same time, special game events are also periodically held.

Copy paste all event, change 2-3 "less-wanted" stuff for something different, fk token shops, their content remains the same, fk ultimate shop for BP, there was maybe twice some useless item added to it, fk ghili drops, I still get material for something I have never seen and did not need to enchant (scout), same goes for guardian shop, outdated af, instead of running 4-5 different events with useless rewards, how about adding 1-2 quality one that IS worth to do and worth to stay online for!?
Would be fking about time to get one anytime soon, cuz tbh, without BP event I only log in to afk fish, don't get me wrong, no, BP event is the same as well with nearly useless rewards, but at least it distracts me and makes me busy for a while and it makes me think less about playing an almost dead game on a daily base...

I'm talking about the usual forum moderators. Also, not sure that the local community-managers are involved in drafting the events. Well, I don’t know how the position of a specialist who deals with events is correctly called here (in RU it was just an event-manager, lol), but these are definitely not social media volunteers.

Probably Gameforge hits the same wall with Krafton as we do trying to reason with Gameforge.
As long as Krafton makes enough money out of their homebase they wont care much about the rest.
Maybe sometimes GF gets their way a tiny bit, forwarded the pvp issue and Krafton makes a thing like TBA.
Ofcourse one shouldn't judge before even trying, but by the looks of it not much effort was wasted on it: existing templates, exisiting skills mashed up a bit so we can now zerk with sorc skills.
To keep the game interesting you need to have a new goal to strive for. Years ago that meant by the time you had the new gear, another one was being introduced. Once you got thát, new gear was introduced etc. The gear is quite steady for now, but in terms of striving-for, is replaced by stats on that gear, progression made harder and harder with RNG on top of RNG, damage/downgrade etc etc.
Add to that the slowed introduction of new accessories.
And temporary etchings are meant to keep you going as well.
Wonder what they will come up with next.
Temporary gear? or Legendary topping Mythical. Then Divine topping Legendary...
As the title of this thread says, much of our griefs are sentimental.
I do miss the old days too, ofcourse.
But i can imagine newer players are quite used to all this.
We older players remember things differently, we played in a time before gaming became mainstream and caught the eye of investors.
Play any game from MMO to turnbased card games and after the initial joy will come that point where you will not progress unless you grind with zero-lifing in the most efficient daily cycles or... and/or visit cash shops.
It is what it is. From the distributor or developer's point of view things might go well, we won't know. Our griefs may be a drop in the ocean of otherwise perfectly happy old or new players.
For me, knowing all this, i am rarely willing to even try upgrade as i realize the time, effort or cash i invest has an incredibly slight chance of paying out. A million gold and mats might even leave you off worse than you were.
Knowledge can be a curse.
But i keep trying, probably also sparked by sentiment.
BRING BACK... my joy in playing

maybe they should demand more say, as they control almost all distribution outside korea.

Someone left, someone came.
It doesn't work like that once too many people leave. If that happens it's just down spiral that always ends with sever closure.

I have heard about this closure for 6 years now. But the game continues to live, and ppl continue to play and discuss it.

When during these 6 years was it as bad as it is now ?

It's dead community wise. Server will always be online as long one special guy spend several hundred bucks in this game. But you can't call a game alive when there is only 5 lfg with the same boring stuff.
Look at the new brawler dungeon it's just NM with a timer added. You can jsut add a timer to MC and call it HM

If NA doesnt find publisher then it basically went down already and i could pin point excact big thing couple years ago that caused it. For EU it's combination of exodor release (losing pepople ever since), 64 bit release (lots of ppl simply can't play now), forever lagging/crashing servers and finally the big one for EU is duping. Gold you farmed legitimetely lost half it's value in a single week, making many question the point of wasting months farming. Luckly EU still has couple servers instead of just 2 to merge in future, so i dont think its gonna go down anytime soon but it might never be the same again.
