considering current events

    As we all know, These past days we were met with double drop event that was hugely met with heavy lags, "due to people exploiting duplication gear and such",
    Right now Tera state is rather depressing, No one wants to play, Months of progress went into Dust as a result of this, people right now have barely any motives to play, i know i don't, Why would i anyway.
    My demands is rather clear and simple,
    Roll back to atleast pre double loot event, preferably to Patch 98.2 release, it might be bad for some of us, a lot of progression or few will be Rolled back, but it's hard pill to swallow, it's better for future and gives atleast some sparkle to players to play this Game again
    another suggestion i give is, give us compesante for this events, i will leave this to community and you Gameforge to decide,

    Rollback would make happy those ppl who so rich and geared that losing few weeks of progress dont matter. Everyone else will be pissed, many would quit.


    Doubt Gameforge wants to kill game so rollback not good idea. Also, duping has been going on for at least a month so rolling back like 1 week wouldnt even do anything but make a lot ppl very angry.

    Given just how far a rollback would have to be made, I think it would cause more trouble for Gameforge than they would consider it being worth, especially when it comes to cash shop purchases. So with that a rollback is just too unlikely to happen...


    And that being said, as I mentioned in another thread, I would suggest permanently banning those responsible for the exploit themselves, and at least temporary banning those who have a proven record of benefitting of this exploit i.E. by buying gear off of exploiters. Furthermore - to add salt to the wound, sure, but honestly, I feel it is more than deserved: remove all the stats of their gear, and randomly roll their jewelry. If they server transferred to be harder to track, don't just remove the stats, but turn their gear into eternal gear for good measure.


    And perhaps take a note from what Korea did: publically shame those that abused exploits. Cause this shows that there are consequences for not abiding by the rules. If players never have to fear any consequence, what is keeping them from doing their thing?

    This is not a new thing, it's a reocurring problem, every couple of months a new exploit breaks the game and believe me I tried time and time again to get the support of the Tera team and the community with no succes at all.

    I ended up with the conclusion that this is actually made to be exploited and no matter how much effort I put into it, it's like pissing against the wind also at the same time becoming the laughing stock of the community, a few people agreed with me and supported it, all my respect for them and the choice they made to not exploit and have ethics.

    If someone decides to give the topics a read, a lot of stuff won't actually make sense because a lot of posts with different links to proof/screenshots and other evidence were deleted by the staff.

    there is no point, the people that did this would revel in the attention, it works in Korea because losing your account there means you'll likely wont be able to make another one.

    Did I ever say that I think that they'll fix it now? Nope. I'm just saying what they need to do if they don't wanna lose the rest of their playerbase, nothing else. :elin16:

    The real problem is the community itself. Cheaters dont need to be afraid by community, cause the community accept those people. They are in every big or small guild. They spend golds to those guilds or the people and it's just okay. Inspect the people and wonder how many people got perfect gear in the last days. Even wihh the Event you need to be extremely lucky to roll the right stats.

    The community accepted the usage of third party software in the past, they even accept bugabuse, for example the double type of cards equipped. Inspect the cards of the people and see how many abuse even this small bug to gain advantages. It's so sad. As long as the community dont wake up, as long as guilds dont kick those people, as long as the community suc the pnis of this players, nothing will change.

    This exploit fiesta and the following server problems are the consequences for the community.


    Ban them all. Kick them out of your guilds, make their characternames public or nothing will change.

    yes some people's moral standards are out the window for the right price or if they can share in the exploited benefits.

    why stop, if you dont get banned anyway? maybe the exploiters also buy TT or club and are therefore a source of income and will not be banned.

    idk anymore. all i know is in the last year i seen my sources of income reduced to dungeon and shop only. and god knows from dungeon alone you will rarely get what you need, you need to either get some extra from broker or shop.

    Situation from weekend make people depressing and me too. Soo many still trying roll own gear to get better stats. I playing 7 years ( free trial ) and i dont remember situation like that.

    But i see for Gameforge is whatever, People still exploiting and no one get even ban. You know why ? for money. If they still sponsoring Gameforge nothing else is important. Its whatever for them, and for what? for Money.

    I heard some people getting ban on Russian Server but on EU? if someone do this in NA they be ban on next day. ITS SHAME because honest people still playing and trying roll his gear. But after that situation our provider split on face to everyone who playing legal. Now people its attacking together because no one know who have exploited gear.

    I really happy Kakao Games get Elyon the succesor of Tera. They never fu** his own community after exploits.

    i think TERA is a division of Trump int. inc. these days.

    Please be aware that we have already taken actions against numerous accounts that were a part of the recent exploit in all servers. However, this is an ongoing battle that did not end yet, as we will keep investigating the situation and banning more accounts that were a part of it.
