so it's been a while since I played Tera, and now it turns out the max amount got lowered to 2. is there any way I can transfer one of my characters over to another server instead of flat out deleting them?

There are 2 character slots available on the server by default, this number has not changed for the last 6 years. In order to transfer your characters, you must use the appropriate service in the TERA Shop. But I would advise you to contact the Support on this issue.
so, they merge servers, put more than 2 characters in one server, and then have you buy something to undo it? hmm
