I've seen a lot of different posts on this matter, both on NA forums and here. None of them, though, consists a viable answer or formal response from the staff or a clear answer for that matter. Please note that I don't want those "Read the ... rules of TERA ... Agreement." etc. BS. I want a clear answer to this question.
The reason I'm asking it "clearly" is that these guidelines or "rules" are stretchable for people. I mean a player can comment on it for their on advantage and provide counter-arguments, if there aren't any statements that clarify that a proxy or a macro or a module that gives players any advantages what so ever is percieved as hacking and a clear reason for permanent ban.
To me they are, as clear as glass, hacks. The reason behind it is simply the fact that they are not natural and they do things that a player could never do
.
However, I don't want to feel stupid, while other players are using it and I'm there just grinding on my keyboard and mouse, breaking my wrist just to provide some DPS that is at least close to what they do in a dungeon. If it's not illegal, I'll use it also. If it's illegal, I will respectfully continue playing proxy-free and wait for the hackers to get banned.
I would really really really appreciate, if there's a clear answer for it and somebody shows it to me.
