Good time of day. After installing patch 97, the UPDATED TERA stopped running.
What exactly is the problem - after launching the client, a banner appears
after that, it disappears and nothing happens.
To avoid tips-remove mods, do a file check and update my bucket. I did it all.

I have the same issue... tera splash shows and then just keeps loading.
Same problem here, some ppl are saying that you can't launch Tera from Gameforge Launcher anymore, maybe we must dl it on Steam...

Is there any other way than killing my account forever by linking it to steam? i really would rather not to do that.
Edit: uninstal / reinstal worked, no steam needed. i most certainly had some modification i wasnt able to find manually.

ok then the server died, thought it was me for a sec... gosh I just finished patching too....
I managed to fix my issue with the following steps:
1. Uninstall tera with the gameforge launcher.
2. Download the game with steam.
3. Go back to the gameforge launcher > Tera > click the arrow and select "add game"
piont it to the install folder where steam installed Tera.
let the gameforge client verify and after that it should launch.

automatic gamepad detection is turned off, and yet half my game's controls don't work right or at all because the game is still detecting my gamepad. I waited all day to log in and can't play when I do...it's okay the server's unstable today anyway.

After downloading the new patch I press Play and this window opens as usual:
But then it just closes and nothing happens at all. The "Playing" button changes back to "Play". It's not running in the background processes either.
*Using the normal Tera Launcher, not through Steam.
How am I gonna solve it via steam when it's not available on steam Turkey well played Tera... and answer my ticket pls..
UPDATE: I tried reinstalling the whole game and it worked. After reinstalling a window popped up when I pressed "Play" asking to allow Tera through the firewall which didn't happen before, so I'm guessing it was a firewall issue.
