Improve Shen Server- SEA

    There got few things that you guys need to fix for this server

    - Rally time in Game should be on Gmt+8,so we dont have to stay late morning to do this stuff

    - Make more advertise about TERA SEA on other website Facebook,Twitter to pull those people to play here

    - Server Shen known as SEA ,but the new player doesnt know about it. Must change Shen to SEA or South East Asian as server name

    - Any Event that TERA Gameforge announce must be more detail,example mention the time for SEA what time it will start,same as other server. So everyone on SEA server wont get confuse

    - Make the instant matching Dungeon available for all server(except for few instant matching). So for those who doesnt want to have high ping,they can just play through LFG instead of instant matching,but the lvling from lvl 20 to 70 wont be matter to have instant matching.What is matter is just Battleground and High Tier Dungeon. So no need to do instant matching for this one. Shen server still able to make Battleground pop without other server help,just the low lvling part need to improve .

    - Make the new player know there are new Server which is SEA and Russian Server so they can choose

    I agree to these points.


    As most of the players are from SEA region, it doesn't make sense to follow EU timing.

    Most people do not see Shen as a SEA server because Gameforge is advertised as a EU server, gotta have something to distinguish us from EU server.


    Definitely need more advertising for SEA server, including SEA server time (maybe can find one timezone that is more generalized for SEA players)


    IM, in my opinion is a rather important part of Tera, but because SEA server is unable to IM with other servers, it becomes redundant. Might need to find a way to improve on this? (EG: A bridge connection with the other servers? If that is possible)

    Maybe you could try to include in PVP content instead of making it a pure PVE server (Because it's the only server there, might as well make all content accessible)

    Mybe you think you give good point. But that actually really bad idea. Everyone here play below 100ms. Because of South East Asian ping,if you suggest to add us into EU Battleground,you just making us to not play battleground anymore at this point.

    I agree also please differentiate event time for EU and SEA server because its night here in SEA when events start so I think Gameforge should differentiate the two servers from one another make it aligned to SEA time for SEA server

    Agreed, this will help the players to do events suited to their timezone because from what I experience recently, players in Shen server do events 2am till 5am and others could not join the events because it is already late. More players are active in the evening like 7pm onwards. Please do consider this since most players in the server are from South East Asia.

    • change times: which times are you exactly talking about ?
    • labeling the SEA server as such: as far as I was informed it was already labled as Asian Server in the beginning of the year.. I think I might have missunderstood you here?

    Hi Aureli . Shen dweller here. Think she's referring to the Rally time on Shen where most ppl play following the timezone Gmt+8, resulting in the rally timing happening between 2am to 5am locally. Also, Tera players might know that Shen server would be referring to the SEA server. However, new/returning players might not be so clear on the names for each servers. There had been some russian players coming on to Shen when it launched (name confusion), or new players simply asking if they are on the SEA server, not Shen (unclear name). Hope that cleared it up!

    Anyways, we're still grateful that the dev team is bringing us all these content and changing the Civil Unrest timing to fit us locally. Thanks! and keep on rockin'!

    * change times* our Rally time is kinda base on Europe time basicaly other server are doing these stuff at evening time,while Sea server we all doing Rally at 3a.m-5a.m which is really bad idea. Most of us already sleep. Should use GMT+8 Singapore time as we are from South East Asian. Same as our Event,Our Corsair's Stronghold Event last time was running at 2 a.m till 5 a.m. Most of us start to sleep at 11p.m and wake up at 6a.m. Few people have work/school. We free around 1p.m-11p.m. I really hope you guys can fix this.

    * labelling the SEA Server* My bad i didnt notice that.. But at least try to let those newcomer know about the new Server example like this.

    (RU)-Shakan NEW Server

    They should also improved server stability. We've been getting server crashes more often nowadays with Shen the only server being affected while the rest are fine.
