Since I decided to do a night scenery, I was scared that it could not fit to the topic. That is why I decided that the character would wear it more as a bikini (I was so scared of not fitting the topic that I included the word "summer" on four written places xd). I honestly did not even think that people could see it sexually, I just always love to draw my three mates and me:

This was my last entry so now I wanted another person to be in the focus. The people in the background are all lovely people I like to play with, I did not decide on what race they are.

Yet I somehow understand that people get tired of Elins so I do not blame others for getting mad. I think many artists felt like me and wanted to fit to the topic. That's why they drew their Elins in bikinis. I do not see any problems with the pictures either and as you said, it somehow is just interpretation. For me this is not a child, it's my 22 years old stupid ape mate. (I know you are reading this x3) And I think most of the artist also just see "their character" and wanted to illustrate it.

I know it's not necessary to justify myself, since it's also personal taste, interpretation and the story behind the picture.

Just thought you might be interested. Next time it's our valk's turn to be the focus.

Bah..it's a fact that the game is elin-centric and aims to release as much cute/sexual content as possible when it comes to costumes...which totally doesn't fit a combat game where you need to defeat huge monsters...just look, almost all the winning loading screens feature elins as the main/only character, and that's just a reflection of what the game is being pushed towards (has been for years tbh)...the obnoxious dominance of little loli characters with barbie dresses or lingerie..might as well rename it Winx Online.

I could even bear having this type of content, if it was balanced by more serious and combat-ready attires and looks, and more additions for male characters when it comes to post-reaper patch classes (reaper included).

It's 2020 and people get offended by everything, but I think you shouldn't support this mindset of "feelings overvalue facts". It was kind of proven by senita456 that these images are not harmful and before they were shown ingame they were selected by Gameforge. I assume they have the legal knowledge to be sure the pictures are not sexualizing.

If you still don't want to see these pictures you can help yourself. It took me less than one minute to find this.

Skaild, what I wanted to say is that there are many angles, that allow you to observe the situation from another, strange perspectives. All types of art (music, painting, literature, film, games etc.) have this problem, that they could not fit to everyone (and they don't have to). I just explained, why one person could react sharply or even aggressive to a thing, which other person will perceive as normal. It's happening everywhere (not only in art): in families, in education, in politic, in talks. And again: it's not a fault of the artists, but also not a fault of the watchers. People are strange, that's it.

There's exactly nothing wrong with these loading screens, hell, the game itself has much lewder context, if you think there's anything wrong with it, NEVER go to an actual beach, holy hell.

Even though I'm not fond of Elins ( I do prefer Casta), I don't think those wallpapers are problematics.

However, having the option to have the custom wallpaper should be given to players. What would be even greater would be to allow people to choose which custom wallpapers they allow or not.

This last option is maybe a selfish desire as I hope I could get this one more often:

Well now concerning elin I think that another reason that they are so popular is also because they have some kind of hidden bonus of attack animations? So maybe they should work on this (and also on skins cause some of the elin-only designs for skins are MUCH better then the normal one.)

Anyway, the artists who have made those wallpapers SHOULD NOT feel shame. Those are pretty safe and kinda cute. If you want to know what real pedo porn (manga) is you can always check Rule34 (this may broaden your horizon on what is ok and what is not).

For people who are offended by this due to trauma, you should see a professional and get help to overcome it (cause those images are safe), there are website and also some organization which you can reach for free (numbers or name of those organization are different so you should check it online).

For people who are offended by this due to "trend" or because they are part of some "cancel culture". I don't have much respect so I'm deeply sorry I can't help you.

For people who just can't stand elin, I understand, but it's not the end of the world. Just grab artists who have talent lock them in your basement and make them draw sexy popo or baraka. This way the next custom wallpapers event will have more diversity.

What determine an image to be considered "sexual"?

Personally, and correct me if I am missing something, there are only a few traits to look at:

- Dress(or lack thereof)

Is the subject wearing something questionable? revealing? is it missing any clothing parts?

- View Angle

Is the image portrayed in such a viewing angle to give emphasis to certain parts of the subject's body? like for example, is the image a straight up view of a character's under skirt?

- Pose and expression

Is the subject presented in a way to suggest any sexual feelings? is it placing his limbs in a way to highlight certain parts of it's body? is it's pose trying to focus the viewer attention on certain body parts?

- Actions

Is the subject doing something considered sexual? like XXX or YYY ? is another character in the scene touching the subject inappropriately?

- Setting and Items

Is there anything around the subject that's suggesting something kinky going on? any items that look "inappropriate" ?

A wet and semi transparent shirt would normally be an erotic detail if wasn't that below the shirt there's a non-transparent swimsuit so...dunno about you but for me it's pretty meaningless in this instance.

A frontal view mostly highlighting the subject's face,while all the rest is behind; a leg is even slightly out of focus, I don't see anything there.

Looks like the normal pose of someone reading a book on a...grassy beach? well either way, the pose doesn't suggest anything to me.

This looks like a 2013 swimsuit for elin that includes a rubber duck ring. The bikini isn't particularly slim in any part and in this image there's no "thinning" of it so it looks like a regular, real-world like bikini.

This particular costume is even "safer" than the previous bikini as it doesn't really expose any parts "X" parts of the body, in real world scenario nobody will bat an eye if you were to wear such costume(in a beach obviously).

Apart: some player need stop spaming bad things (but correct, not at all) things to others players about the game situation and make to everyone stop playing tera when "that player" still speaking here when he is not playing here, he is playing shooter games. this is a tera forums for constructive players or whos want share his feedback, and no for inactive or negative players likes that player saying non helper stuffs.
