So, today I was about to delete Tera from my laptop (i dont even remember when was the last time I launched the game on it) but surprisingly I have found that gameforge has made even uninstalling the game more complicated (is it some twisted logic of keeping more people still launching the game or not, I don't know)
Anyway, logic dictates that the uninstall application is either in the install folder or the process can be launched through the gameforge client, but to my surprise nothing of the sorts was there. So I figured the solution is doing it through the windows settings-remove apps/programs. Was able to click uninstall there. All should be good, right? No, in order for windows to uninstall it, the GF launcher had to be launched and after waiting for it to update, it AUTOMATICALLY started to update Tera. So in order to uninstall the game I have to update the launcher and the game itself.
In the end I got fed up with that, just uninstalled the stupid gameforge launcher, deleted all tera related folders and even used CCleaner to make sure all was removed.
In the end i have only this to say. Beside the fact, that the servers are a complete mess, crashing ON A REGULAR BASIS, events are just utter trash and now to top it up, even removing the game itself is a pain in the butt! Thanks GF, no wonder players think that you're a joke.
