PvP Gear Upgrade Chance

    I would just like to tell you about my today's experience trying to upgrade PvP gear. Today was the upgrade chance supposed to be 50% higher. I started with a weapon +6 and had 100k gold for upgrading (that's a lot for me as I don't play much PvE and only started with TERA again a few weeks ago). Also I farmed upgrading materials in over 80 games of CS in the last few weeks.


    1st upgrade try: +7, 2nd try: +8, then server crash. After that, it was like the higher upgrade chance didn't survive the crash. 3rd try: again +7, 4th try: damaged, 5th try: down to +6 and then I spent the remaining gold and it didn't even go up to +7 anymore. Every try was either a fail or even damaged. A few weeks of farming were pointless and that with +50% upgrade chance (allegedly). I won't try anymore now, PvP with personal gear is done for me. If I can't even upgrade one piece of equipment during a +50% event, it's just a massive waste of time trying to. I should have spent the 100k gold in skill advancements. That way, I would at least had a benefit in CS.

    Well, I have been trying to upgrade my pvp weapon to +9 since the time it came out. Taking the last pvp gear enchanting event into account, I have wasted now about 6 million gold, purely on enchanting. But the end result has been always the same, back to+6.
    At the same time some people do it with 3-6 tries, go figure.

    the day the damage buff from 24k to 74k was announced on ktera was the day i started farming for my weapon, i didnt care about armor at all cause i play ninja so sold the blue plates since they were 30 gold each...so far, ive had 71 attempts to go from +8 to +9 over tha last year and a half, most off the enchant attempts made duing pvp "scam" events

    the worst part honestly is watching guildies with 5+ alts run around with a +9 on each alt while i run around shore on my main with the only thing im able to murder fairly 1v1 being my mana bar

    long story short, your 100k had no chance off getting it, expect to spend over 12 months farming for your weapon if you play 30 cs games a month only
