I did my own investigation of server crashes and found out that someone stopped swiping.
To resolve the problem you just need to buy more lootboxes or spins on the wheel.

but srsly, considering the great ideas for the "events" i can't help but feel like the brighter support staff has already moved on from the game and the current maintaining staff is just a bunch of "turn it off and on again" specialists.

True but right now with the league of levelers event you can spend about 1,5 hours to make a reaper -> get it to lv.65 and you get 3 days of Tera Club for that little time spent.

You think that's bad support, servers, publisher and events? You should see what the folks over at NCWest and Blade & Soul are capable of.

Gameforge wants to be seen as a big and serious game publisher in Europe ... A good joke.
You claim that "Our team is aware of the situation and is investigating the issues" ... Empty words that do not translate into action.
It is embarrassing that a handful of people who helps / creates modules for Tollbox who is at the IT school lvl or does it for fun have a better idea of the situation th than the IT department of a large company.
Atmorph knows this. Embarrassing is that one person (K *** s i hope you burn) sending invalid packages crash servers many times a day. For what? That his bots would get their coins back? To be able to kill Caiman in the pvp zone? To duplicate value items?
When a person sees what is happening and regularly hears about modules that help cheat in every way, about bots passing the start island, meme blasts, endless burning heart, infinite TC for which only a handful of people were banned, and many others, you really want to leave the game .
Stop pretending and start doing your job for which you take real money.

That was my first guess, that this looks more like a ddos attack to collapse the server. I mean server collapse, it restarts, collapse again, restart again and so on.
The funny thing is, if it's true and it is caused by a mad user cause of end of fishbots and proxys, it is not like i warned in the past.
Give the community the possibility to take inpact at the game by proxys and scripts and dont ban them, they will get more and more naughty with their scripts. If this is true, this problem is homemade by the low hand of gameforge law and the proxy community. Like i ever told, ban all proxy users.
Ppl even abuse double card bug cause there are no consequences, this is just an invite for cheating.

Let's all stop acting like this is the first time something like this happens.
Crashes and whatnot are common, hell you could crash Tera a couple of years ago without even stressing yourself.
People were messing around with stuff found on google to "ddos" and servers were still dieing. And that was like 3-4 years ago.
As a person who has been playing Tera off and on since release in EU, i've seen the same loop, the same arguments, the same way of replying/managing/cleaning posts and overall communication failures made by GameForge for many years now.
It's all on repeat. Hell, it is actually way worse than a couple of years ago, everyone is using 3rd party tools for various reasons, one of the most important being poorly optimized game and server infrastructure.
It's not about the actions Gameforge can take, how can they know for sure as a publisher who is using what and who is a standard player? Even the guys that made the game have trouble with it because of the way they made it in the first place. How can Gameforge determine or even attempt to do anything about it? We all know their game in depth knowledge is close to non-existent.
I think its about time to either invest in an infrastructure that actually protects servers or give up and close the game.
