    this sort of thing is still very much a thing and yet as far as one can tell nothnig is being done. This is not exclusive to ninjas but they are the most notable example(as far as i understand this happens mostly with ninjas and reapers).


    so i wanna hear, what is actually being done about this sort of thing?

    That's still because of the 80% CDR Event which Miriam just mentioned...of course a few Ninja's still exploited during that Event and tried to hide it behind those Soups but...from what I can see most of those runs are not exploited (Just check the buff-uptime of Inner Harmony and it's super easy to tell)

    Yeh, that was thanks to the cdr food.

    Inner Harmony with the 80% cdr food (+healers cdr buffs) had lower cd than the actual duration of Inner Harmony; Harmonious Burning Heart thanks to that food had less that 1s cd (lower than the casting time), so during the food event ninjas just spammed IH with HBH.


    Technically, to discern between flamethrower.js and food runs you have to check bottom skill cast (or buff uptime): if you see they casted IH multiple times then they 99% used food (from my understanding and some mg runs I saw, flamethrower cheat should not need to cast Inner Harmony at all).

    here's the thing tho tobtheking2 : i didnt post a specific run: i posted a ranking listing of a certain instance(this case CSN) , specifically to avoid that accusation and try to stick to forum rules.


    everyone that came after me decided ot post specific runs, i'm not looking ot flame ppl nor was i asking how to spot these runs, its not hard to figure out which ones were due to the food event and the actual cheated ones. but sure, whatever feel free to accuse me of flaming(and im trynig to avoid stupid witchhunts) but if other ppl here are making my case for me that these runs STILL happen ofc ill piggy back off it.

    Then honestly you chose the wrong format to do that: of the flamethrower runs in the ranking you posted only one is cheated.


    If you wanted to show that flamethrower.js is still a thing without going against forum rules you should just have posted the screen of that cheated run by censoring names.

    The way you put it would actually lead people that don't know how to discern between cheat and food runs to blame or accuse people that did nothing wrong.

    so yeah that video was recorded in first of March means like Almost a month befor the soup event and yeah keep defending of what illegal with Alt accounts

    Teixas You were there with me when I made the 3rd party agreement in Tera and you saw how that went. 10 days after I made that topic the video posted above by Maya_GM popped up as a reply, it was one of the exploits I was well aware of, not just that but I provided specific links to where it can be found, installed and ran, all that given to the tera support team via the ticket system.

    Their response: 'Outside sources cannot be used as evidence'.

    I was not reporting a player, I gave them the source code to that exploit and many others so there was no need for reverse engineering and a lot of time and resources to be spent in order to develop a fix, nobody cared then, nobody cares now and I doubt someone will care in the foreseeable future.

    I consider you a friend, even though we only conversed in the forums, I always appreciated your point of view on things and respect your oppinion because it's fair and objective, backed by proof and facts.

    Transparency, professionalism, customer and user ethics are not a thing well appreciated here, with the vast majority being the users, you saw the fishing fiasco, it sums up like this 'Ban fishing completely but I don't want it to go away', yes, it's that dumb.

    Every other topic on basically anything with this company it's just another sisyphean labor, why should you be shunned and laughed at for being right in the first place?

    Or do like I did, ditch your gunno and join team bad buy, at least now it's fair, for me atleast, not everyone here is underage and edgy or mature but childish, but those people already understood what I told you here long before we did, so don't expect their replies, valid thing for every other user who feels the same way.
