Valderon token bug - The unfairness of blueholes stupidity

  • Civil Unrest was absolutly bugged and the majority of guilds weren't able to participate because one highly intelligent person wasnt able to apply the right numbers for Valderon tokens needed to enter CU. However, the jackpot was huge and still distributed.

What are the plans on compensation?

And pls get rid of those guilds where members used proxy portmodules, kkthx.

For some stupid reason only large guilds with more than 1500 Valderyon Tokens were allowed to enter. Meaning that not a single (expect with Proxy Teleport) Small or Medium Guild was able to enter the Civil Unrest area - how did this bug even happen in the first place? Considering that it worked for the last few months without any problems - but thanks to the newly released v93 Patch (since last tuesday) its bugged now.

Why did Gameforge not completly disable the Civil Unrest after knowing that like 90% of the existing guilds weren't able to enter?
And what kind of compensation can we & many other guilds - the guilds that easily would have won this CU like the last few years - expect because of the 40m Guild on Yurian + the 120m Guild on Mystel based on the current enchanting Event that went to other guilds that initally don't deserve it.

    Done.

  • It is one thing that gameforge does not test the patch before they apply it but in this case there is the clear need of a compensation worth at least the gold that was in the jackpot and a compensation that goes to everyone is not te correct way as the proxy users and others that abused this developer mistake benefit huge from this.

One solution would be to add the gold again to the jackpot meaning the guilds that usually win can have a change to win the gold again.

    1. so the bug is just completely ridiculous. You completely exclude half a server. the pot was completely thicc....
    2. Why isn't something tested? why is not something sensible announcement?
    3. The easiest way is simply to cancel the GvG, pour the pot over the next week and play a fix on Tuesday.
    4. Simply dropping it under the table would be completely ridiculous ... and on the part of gf it's an absurd cheek.
    5. This text was written with googel translator. pls no hate

This week enchanting event was up... Over 120M gold for CU and Score wasn't able to join to have their chance to get a part of those money, are ppl gonna receive a compensation for what happened?

Because clearly this is something damaging ppl in-game and it's GF/BH fault for not checking this shit system and Inflamed got a free victory with the biggest money pool ever basically and the other guilds weren't even able to contest it or have a chance to actually get a part of those money.

Like i said, at least give ppl a compensation for ur failures and apologize.

Copied from Rokujou - a member of Score on Mystel one of the biggest/best PvP Guilds that easily could have won the 120m gold this week. It affects a lot of guilds on all servers so there seriously needs to be an statement and compensation for that whole shit.

    Done.

  • The majority of guilds atleast onz Yurian couldn't enter GvG due to a bug introduced in the last patch. Understandable that you missed that bug Gameforge but not excusable.

You better thin atleast of a proper compensation, ideally of a way to revert this GvG and return all the gold to the jackpot. Most guilds that usually participate in GvG didn't get a chance at this pot and it was the largest in a long while.

  • This is just ridicolous, people were not even able to fight and have a chance to get a part of those money because developer and publisher didn't check anything about this system... This is absurd, i expect a compensation for this shit since people from my guild paid a lot of money to get their +15 and they were hyped about fighting to win this week.

But like this? No way in hell something like this can happen...

  • This has affected most of the "relevant" guilds on Yurian. The 40 million gold prize pool is now in the hands of players which normally would have no shot at winning or placing high in CU.

Since this issue has come to light two whole hours before CU started and there were no preemptive measures taken by Gameforge, I can only assume that there will be a suitable compensation for the losses we had to suffer today.

  • Speaking of witch, the mobile game I currently play and enjoy gives away a compensation every maintenance and every issue that happen in game. When they had suffered network traffics (12h maint) they actually decided to give every player premium items without hesitation. Would be really great to have such thing in TERA aswell...

And yes, our medium sized guild couldn't manage to enter with 1300 Tokens. Even dm'ing mods etc left us without any answer. Thank you for cooperating, everyone :) long live the money and patch notes

    :elin37:

  • The event is only bad if ... you didn't take part in it:lol: Make complaints somewhere else, the event is done.

There is nothing to add to this comment.

  • This is clearly rewarding the *quantity over the quality*. Many medium size guilds are way more skilled and they couldn’t take part cause not large. What I saw today was disrespectful. *Fake large guilds* being able to enter (yes fake, cause many of the guilds, that could go in there, were large cause full of inactive players that didn’t get kicked) while guilds that instead are preparing for CU since an entire week that are medium sized but with many active players (even more than some guilds that were let inside) weren’t able to take part. I’m not a main pvp player, even if I’m getting closer to pvp lately, but there are many ppl that play Tera exclusively for pvp. For many of them the CU is the event they are looking forwards the most, since they can show strategy abilities, skills and much more in there. Moreover CU is the best source of money for pvpers. Since this was an error entirely due to developers, and this shouldn’t really happen since workers are paid to do their job properly, the least you could do is apologizing and giving a compensation to ppl that weren’t able to participate.

  • More than two full days have passed now. The answer that was given to us by your glorious player support is not satisfactory at all.

I still expect an official answer on the matter, including plans on how to compensate players that were affected by this issue.

I have no idea who is responsible here so I am just going to threea (if there is someone else you know of please help by tagging them). You seem to react fast if players are profiting off an issue, see the deactivation of ABHM (which was a good thing tbh, if only you reacted to everything that fast).

Just going to leave this here again. If you want to keep getting our money, then start working for it.

  • I must have missed that comment, I still think that this is not the answer we were looking for.

All threaa did there was apologise, great.

Earlier today, in the German section of the forum, someone else commented:

Das Problem wurde bereits an die Entwickler weitergeleitet und wir können nur hoffen, dass zeitnah eine Lösung gefunden wird. Zu Entschädigungen kann ich zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt noch keine Aussage treffen, wir werden euch diesbezüglich informieren, wenn wir etwas neues wissen.

This roughly means that they forwarded the issue to the developer, and that they hope that a solution will be found soon (so i guess the next few CUs will require guilds to mass invite). On the matter of compensation, they commented that they cant say anything yet, but will inform us.

This actually sounds kind of promising, lets see how things develop.
