Major lagspikes - anyone else having this problem?

Is anyone else having extremely bad lagspikes recently? Since yesterday a little before midnight the connection to the server for me is awful I'm having some massive lagspikes where in the worst case everything in the game stops moving for like 2 seconds and then the game catches up. (Yes it's latency, fps is fine).
The in game latency indicator shows some spikes up to 800ms - trying to ping what I think is the relevant ip? I get some packets going missing.

I'm playing from the UK (Manchester) with Plusnet as the provider (on the BT network basically).

Problem seems to have resolved itself after a day and a half. Must've been a weird route between BT & gameforge servers. Heroes of the Storm (another game) was lag free as was any internet browsing.
