New dungeon entries

    We do too! I play this game for PvE Combat only and there is nothing fresh and fun to do in TERA, but this new dungeon. Even though I like dungeons like AAH or FA, I don't want to run these for the rest of my life.


    You may not need the extra runs because you don't "want to rush", but you can continue to not "want to rush" even when the number of entries are increased.


    It doesn't affect you, so why are you against this? Castingbeast

  • Game is not dying because people are BiS, game is dying because theres literally 3hour of playing a week to do with this little ammount of entries. :S

    Besides there is not a single BiS player in this game right now, even if you have a shitload of gold it's still impossible to buy BiS items for a simple reason, there's none in the game ;)

    And what would BiS players do without new content if they existed? The same thing they've done until 2019 when BiS was still a thing. :sleeping:

    yet another thing to blame BHS for...in the previous patches we had like 26 dungeons to choose from, not it's what...18 ? instead of removing content and bringing it back every 2-3 years for 6 months so new players think it's new content, they should keep all existing dungeons available (ever since 2012 I'm sure more than 50 dungeons have been created) in order to add more variety , so that even with limited entries you'd have more than enough dungeons to choose from to keep the game interesting...ah, also adding new dungeons more often would be nice :|


    But I guess the bottom line is that this can't be helped, as long as we're stuck with lazy and greedy devs and publishers, who aim to release as little content as possible (more often than not, it's actually "recycle"), and add as many rng boxes for upgrade mats, mounts and skins as they can, to get as much profit as possible, with the lowest possible amount of money invested...

    you see other companies earning more than 1 billion dollars a year with games that have no rng boxes, or p2progress/p2w , just adding new content all the time, actually fixing/reworking stuff based on feedback from the community, and basing 99% of their income on skins that don't come from rng-boxes, and they don't even have the amazing combat system Tera has.

    IIRC they announced to not cut any content out again 1 or 2 years ago. But I guess the devs working on TERA now are not the same anymore and are not aware of this promise. I can understand that having too many dungeons would spread the playerbase, but you can implement events with special loot in some dungeons to solve this problem. I see no reason in deactivating entry portals for dungeons that are in our game folder anyway, many favorite dungeons of the community are excluded because of this.


    Balancing the dungeons for Lv 70 is not a problem, it worked for other existing dungeons aswell. Of course new dungeons are more interesting, but so many dungeons are that old, that even veterans don't know them. Like Balders Temple (H), Fane of Kaprima (H), Argon Corpus (H), Crucible of Flames... I never had the chance to play this content because I personally was too late and I am positive that I am not the only one. Bringing just a few old dungeons back with an updated Lv 70 Version would increase variety so much and people wouldn't be angry about 10 runs per week. Of course it must cover loot tables of low, mid, high and end game dungeons to not be dead content right away (Like Rift's Edge being low tier dungeon... no comment on this).
