Try to max your gear, and your own skills. You won`t be able to be the "best", since there are always partys/players that have more OP bufffood, a better party member, a lancer tank instead of a brawler, a myst instead of a priest. And yea, having stuff like PR/Bern, whatever increases your dps. I`m just trying to do my best in every dungeon. So in my opinion Moonguard top #1-10 doesn´t mean there is no better player than you

actually the first part "10k€ PC" is the current procedure to play the game. Right now the state is: More money more success

how to be a top player: successfully quit the game without getting any mental disease before.

Being the top player is being the one who performs the best at any given situation.

Your performance can be compared to players in a similar situation in which case you will be top in your field or overall just by result.

So I think you don't even have to be good to be the top, unless the other people you compare yourself with are. You can be absolutely horrible and still be the top at something, if no one participates and does it better than you.

Alternatively a top player can also be the mvp, one who not only is able to solo carry w/e content be it pve (example: dungeons, ow BAMs...), pvp (dueling, bgs, civil unrest...) or other stuff but also excels at the task.

This doesn't only apply to DPS classes, you can be the top player as a heal or tank by fulfilling your class duties better than other players do.

Examples of things I'd call a player the top player for:

-Being the number one of every leaderboard
-Being the owner of every title

-Being the fastest to clear a dungeon, to get a bam, a costume or the fastest to end a won duel/BG/CU
-Dealing the most damage in a dungeon, bam or having the highest kda in a BG

-Delivering the best performance in a dungeon, clearing the dungeon or winning a duel/bg/conflict

-Doing the above regardless of the odds, being able to deliver even when conditions are against you (trap run/matching, potato pc, playing vs cheaters etc.)
-Is knowledgeable and skilled in the field, may know every detail about the game and their class and is able to apply it to achieve success while others can't or don't do as good at it

As said before filling only one of the above examples does not automatically make you the top player overall, it just makes you the top in that particular field. The more fields and the less extras you use, the more you're the top player.

Then again using extra advantage to aid your cause can indicate that either you're being smart and using your resources to surpass others or you're simply not good enough to do it without help. It's open to discussion, I prefer the later one but the first may apply technically speaking.

How to achieve it:

Participate in the content and do better than anyone else at it.

Select what you want to be the best at, practice, grind and apply tips from other players if necessary. You may not always become the best but with talent and dedication your chances to be will increase.

the biggest wallet possible, all the possible cheats you can buy, super toxic attitude and here's the typical "top" player. there are exceptions but they are very rare ( i'm talking of the lack of toxic attitude).
