So iv played TERA on an off since 2013 and many players say TERA is dying or already dead or s**t content or....yad yad yad what ever they have to complain about.
But the fact is even though TERA is still getting new players the player count is just not what it use to be and is dying...
TERA is probably in my top 3 game for most played hours and i dont really want to see it die. So I thought if we were get a server (new separate server) open to everyone and not just steam users or particular players, where we, the community could decide what content goes into this server that would hopefully spark some interest and old/more players will join.
TERA in my opinion has the best combat system and can have so much potential if done right.
Getting this server up and running will probably initially going to take some time trying to group up what content to add and tweek the content so nothing overlaps or messes anything up so that everything is compatible. But would probably be worth it in the long run.
If the server is a complete fail all you have to do is shut it down and transfer char data over to Mystel.
My opinion is you have nothing to loose. The only way to improve is to take those unthought of or scary steps.
I have sent around a message to diff discord groups and got their opinions about this server idea and have made up a list of some of the mentioned ideas, im sure there will be more.
Please note these are not my words below they are all quoted from the discords.
0-Any kind of PLAYABLE group activities including actually challenging.
1-Nexus and NT
2-Alliance / Revamped Alliance to exclude PvE farming from ranking points
3-Dreadspire with lower, as well as 10-ish upper floors, including 3 MC HM bosses, Kaprima, Meldita etc.
4-More challenging lower level content where BAMs don't die in 3 hits.
5-Multiple-queue battlegrounds with Fraywind present, obviously.
6-Klsaik's Nest raids.
7-I'd also want the item XP s**t gone, so people can actually play their f***ing alts without having to farm 24/7.
8-Guild BAMs being back in a PvP-enabled area such as CU?
9-Fraywind / Equilazed Fraywind
10-5v5 Skyring
11-Remove HO gear and go from Storm Cry straight to 'new' mid/highy end blue gear or +0 yellow gear
12-Bring back old Storm Cry gear skin (the flames)
13-Remove Apex from guild wars.
14-Old CU map back.
I am 100% sure there are normal players out there willing to help or assist where possible to make this server happen.
Obviously topic open to suggestions and opinions but please lets not be too toxic.
