Some stuff I would like to see in game

  • Hello ppl,

since we were finally offered the opportunity of expressing ourselves, here there are some few ideas of mine:

    1. World under water

It would be nice if there were some underwater dungeons/open world areas. There could exist a new type of mount needed to go under water. The basic one would be provided with a quest, while other type of water mounts could be provided through achievements/events/tera shop. In fact, I find the swimming kinda limited and I think it would be nice and interesting to add some features to it.

    2. More than one endgame dungeons

Atm there is only one endgame dungeon to get the new gear and that can become really boring. It would be nice if instead there were more endgame dungeons. Something like a dungeon that drop only shoes, another only weapons, etc. At least, even if still super grindy, there would be more choice and more variety.

    3. New bosses instead of recycled ones

This new dungeon, Akalath Quarantine, was kinda delusional; the bosses in there are totally recyled, so the dungeon itself results easy and long due to the amount of HP of the bosses. Each dungeon should include different kind of monsters and different kind of mechs. Tbf I'd like to see more kind of raids (10 ppl mostly). It would be challenging since coordination would be required, so the drop should be at least one yellow piece per run. 10 ppl would be rolling on it, so it would still be hard to get the gear. Moreover it would be harder to clear a raid of this kind, so only the ones that got enough skills would get it *easier*. Atm, literally anyone can drop the gear, since the dungeon is easy and totally rng drop. So in conclusion, imo the yellow gear should be dropped only to the ppl that put effort on it. Atm the game is rewarding the best farmers instead of the best players.

    4. More mechs, not only reflexes

It is nice of Tera to have mechs that requires fast reactions from the players, but I think it would be nice to see also some mechs based on having knowledge of the dungeon and not just reflexes. First thing, please stop making boss without mechs and tons of HP to make the dungeon considered to be *harder*. It would be way better if the boss had less hp but more hard hitting mechs, so fights would still last more or less the same but at least there would be some fun. What I personally like the most are those kind of dungeons in which each person has to do something important in order to clear (like for example in rke when there was to F the pillars or like in fihm first boss where everyone had to shoot pillars etc.)

    5. Some ideas

Here some ideas of some mechs that bosses could have:

    a) Using a flying mount in middle of fight. A boss that gains power at 80%, 60%, 40%, 20%. In order to interrupt the power absortion, players would have to use a flying mount to catch some stuff in the air or to deactivate some interruptors in the sky.

    b) A boss that spawns an interdimensional portal, so that party has to decide who will go inside and who instead will stay. At this point the two parties will have to fight two different bosses, being careful of killing them within a certain amount of time one from each other.

    c) A labyrinth dungeon for a 5-man party. Each party member would have to enter a different side of the labyrinth and cooperate on helping the other members by clearing their paths, by pressing buttons or defeating some mobs that drop something that can be useful to find the way out. Once everyone has found their way out, they would meet a big boss in the middle of the labyrinth. The labyirinth paths for the players would spawn differently and randomly every time, so that it doesnt get boring.

    d) Dungeons should be a bit longer, not only 2 bosses and thats it. That is a level of grind that is too much to handle. Would be better instead to assure at least one good loot but with a more challenging background. Ofc if the loot drop is as low as it is now, ppl would prefer a 2 bosses one cause easier to farm. So the basic idea would be to make the game less *farmy* and more skill challenging, with a loot that is assured to drop, so that players would feel rewarded after a big effort.

    6. Stop the copy-paste please

What was done with Fihm in this patch is kinda disgusting. It feels like the company didnt bother at all to fix it accordingly to the actual gear. They just copy-pasted it, making it become super easy to kill bosses and with loot that doesnt make any sense. This is not only bad to see but it also makes me think that Krafton is so much not caring that didnt even bother to adapt it to the current patch. This definitely doesnt send a good message to the playerbase.

I am sorry for how I wrote stuff with this poor english x.x I hope things will be still understandable. Anyways, in conclusion, despite having new ideas for the game is something that should involve the employeers that actually get paid for it, I guess I kinda appreciate the try from Gameforge to give us the opportunity of expressing our creativity. I hope Krafton will take these posts into considerations for real.

Ofc if anyone doesnt agree with my ideas, feel free to comment here; I would appreciate it so we can sort out something better together through the critics.

Thank you for the probably few ppl that read it all ^^' I am looking forward to some feedbacks.
